Ive been complaining about this post office for the past 4 years. The obese woman behind the counter has ZERO reason to still have a job there. She is incredibly rude and wont get up to do ANYTHING and will flat out refuse service. Ive heard her tell an upset customer(one who hasnt experienced her awesomeness before..haha) that "if you dont like what I have to say then dont send packages through the post office" and even went as far as to tell him to go to FedEx or ups instead. Nice to encourage someone to utilize a different company! I quickly let him know...in front of her...that shes rude to everyone who comes in so dont take it personally. We both then reported her to the 1-800# for usps(my like 10th time calling them about this place) and They told us both that theyve been trying to get rid of her for years but cant because of how long shes been there. Also when you go in at 450-455...they will stop you at he door and flat out refuse to let you send packages or even let you in!!! They have to help you if you get in before 5! Ive said to them many times, "you have to help me if Im in here...I dont care if youre shift ends at 5...if it says you close at 5 for customers...now do your job!" They will pretty much put the gate down ON YOU! There used to be an African American woman who worked in here too...rude as all heck and they made a great team!!! I can pretty much guarantee she received too many complaints and was sent elsewhere. This post office is a complete joke and the employees are worthless when it comes to doing anything more than sitting on their butts.

Today the postal worker asked me if my 2 pre-postaged boxes were heavy heavy. I said 35 to 40 pounds. "Can you take them in the back for us?" Of course I did and didnt really mind, but really? There I am putting my own packages in bins in the back of the post office. What is going on here? They are lethargic and pathetic. There was nobody else in line, and the other employee had her elbows on the counter with her face in her hands. I have never seen anything like it in either the public or private work force. I am at this post office a lot because it is so close to home. Avoid it if you can. Update 12 of 2013: We moved in May, but we rent our house near this post office. I stopped to get stamps to mail holiday cards. There was a new person. She was amazing, but one of the people from my last review was the other person. In short; I watched the employees argue, one person walk away, and a deaf man refused cash payment leave out of confusion. The new person here was running on credit payment only because the zombie next to her would not listen to her on how to fix her drawer. THIS PLACE IS A TRAIN WRECK.

did the job they were supposed to but i felt like i was in inconvenience to them. just wanted to mail a few papers out and it took about 30 minutes with only one person ahead of me. then when i get a response to my papers its a package with a postal service sticker apologizing for damages to my package and informing me that this sort of thing happens a lot with the high volume of mail. id be surprised if they had to handle more then 3 people a day and 10 letters. customer service does not exist here. please go here and review it so it can be restaffed by people who care because i dont want my mail from family and friends handled by people who dont.

This post office is a sham. I have family who have worked in the postal service for 30+ years and they agree. We had our dog escape one day and the mailman ran and then jumped on top of my car. Before he left we were at an understanding that it was a simple mistake, no one got hurt, and that I wouldnt charge for damages. Next thing we know, without warning our mail stopped coming and they refuse to even speak to us on the matter which is against USPS policy (even listed on the official site). These workers do not represent USPS, they represent laziness and disrespect.

This is the worst post office I have ever set foot in. Staff is lethargic and clearly couldnt care less about providing acceptable service, much less being friendly about it. I brought a number of packages there about a half hour before close (with almost no other customers in the store) and they refused to give me service, telling me (rudely) that if I had multiple items to ship, I needed to get there by 4:00. The sign on the door says "Full Service" is offered until 5, but it wouldnt surprise me if the employees here cant read. Avoid this post office at ALL COSTS.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I cannot begin to explain how incredibly rude the person behind the counter is at the Broadway location. I have been in the Post Office (my local office) for various things like stamps, mailing packages, PO Box, and I dont recall an interaction with a customer service rep in ANY business that has been so rude, so put out by questions or having to get off her chair for a package or paperwork or God forbid a PO Box. Unbelievable. I dont know what her malfunction is, but she clearly hates her job.

Worst post office I have ever been in by far! I went in with two toddlers and I simply wanted to mail a package. The post office worker didnt even look at what I was mailing and said I had to take it home and repack it. All I wouldve needed is a little bit of tape and I wouldve been fine. Instead I was told had to take my two kids home, tape it up and drive all the way back. It was completely rude and I will never go back here again.

Honestly, I hope this place shut down. Went to the register lady to ship my package and already she is complaining that she can not lift my 43lbs shipment. Saying that it might not ship. Then at some point I asked a question and she have the nerve to yell at me for asking a simple question. By all means to tell me not to come here again. I wont!!!!

I saw the reviews here (a little too late) and was hesitant to go but I needed to. The gentleman who help me, Kyle, was very pleasant and helpful. Although he was the only one working and took a while to get through the relatively short line (if multiple employees were available), it was a good experience for me today. Thanks Kyle.

Last time I was there I witnessed them kick people out of line for their lunch break. Again tonight they kicked everyone out after standing in line for 30 mins so they could close. Horrible customer service. Will do my best to avoid USPS in the future. No wonder they are going bankrupt.

There are no words to describe the bleakness of a visit to this post office. The government should disband the entire postal organization and leave shipping to the private sector. That would save taxpayers many billions every year.
