Let me tell you a story of incompetence. I purchased my dishwasher from Best Buy and MN Plumbing was the contractor to install it. The first visit finds that my appliance wont fit under my counter and I need to modify it. The technician tells me he will put on his work notes that an Electrician should come with when they return to finish the installation. He also tells me to ask for an Electrician to be scheduled when I call back. Okay, counter is modified, call back the next day to Best Buy. I specifically ask for the Installers and the Plumber to come the same day. Best Buy says no problem and "schedules it". MN Plumbing calls the next day to confirm, and tells me they wont send an Electrician. I ask again, but she refuses and confirms my install. Fine. They call again the day before our appointment as a reminder and I ask for an Electrician to come out, they again refuse to send one at the same time. Fine. The DAY of the install, MN Plumbing calls me to cancel because based on the last techs notes, the dishwasher wont fit. I tell them its handled and she says "oh, Ill tell them the install is still on". Installer gets here, slaps it in and says youll need an Electrician. No duh. I call MN Plumbing back and schedule an Electrician for the next day and my third waste of PTO time. On that morning Im called to see if I would like to schedule an Electrician to come out. Good thing youre a contractor, Id never hire you.

Bought a dishwasher at Best Buy w an additional install package for $169. Upon arrival to install, the two tech stated I needed a $125 shut off value to replace the old one, original to the house. This $125 would be in addition to the $169 prepaid charge. I question the $125 for a $8 part, but conceded since they were there and I had taken the day off for this. After a discussion between the two techs they stated they didnt have a shut off value between the two of them. I stated Id go buy the part and they could install, they refused and stated theyd rescheduled. 2 1/2 days go by w no reschedule or call. I went to Best Buy to cancel my order and filed a complaint w this company. I went down the street to Home Depot, purchased the same dishwasher for the same price w a $79 install package. Had it installed today w no worries, no additional charges, saved a bit of money. I like Best Buy and intend to continue to shop, but question their installation partner. Hope this helps others, Im glad the techs werent prepared and I had time to do a bit of research.

Bought dishwasher from Best Buy and MN Plumbing and Appliance was the contracted installer. Said they would be out sometime between 8am-12pm and call 30 minutes beforehand. Noon came and went, no call. Then the guy shows up around 1:15pm without calling. Guy was not very pleasant and then refuses to install my dishwasher because my sink plumbing was not up to code. Never had any issues since I bought the house, but I completely understand that he has to follow code. I told him I would pay what I needed to for him to fix it, but he said he couldnt do it today and had no idea how soon he could come back. Had to beg him to at least leave the dishwasher. Turns out its really easy to install dishwashers and took me less than an hour to hook it up! Runs great, no problems or leaks, clean dishes, easy to follow instructions. Also he left a big mess in my kitchen and I luckily spotted the open poisonous cleaning powder before my dog got to it. This company has terrible service!

MN Plumbing and Appliance Installation has done 2 install and haul aways for me from Best Buy in the last month - a dishwasher and a gas dryer. Both times Eric and Nate were the technicians. Their service is extremely professional and the technicians are very friendly - they called the day before to give me a time window, 30 minutes before they arrived the day of the appointment, and were respectful of my space (they offered to remove their shoes, etc..). They also didnt mind my silly questions when I didnt understand something they were telling me. For the gas dryer, the technicians had to update the gas so it was up to code, but they gave me an estimate of the cost and explained what they needed to do so that I understood. Installation with MN Plumbing was super easy both times they came out to my house, so I would not hesitate calling them for any future plumbing needs.

Horrible quality work and horrible customer experience! They installed our new vanity and created a leak. I called them to come out to fix the leak and they didnt show up for the first appointment and when they did come out it was a week later! They told me to turn off the water til they could get back out and barely cared that they didnt show up when they said they would. If that isnt bad enough they cut a big hold in our new vanity and told us to cover the extra space with contact paper to hide the hole. Its the worse cutout Ive ever seen and they didnt even clean up the sawdust. Very disappointing and the opposite of what I expected from an established company and one that does installs for Best Buy.

MN Plumbing installers are very friendly, however after paying them to install our brand new appliances they failed to check the water valve for leaks when they installed the refrigerator. After noticing wet spots in the ceiling of our recently finished basement 3 days later we are now dealing with thousands of dollars in water damage repair and have to replace the water valve. MN Plumbing is claiming no responsibility for any of the damage, however they did offer to replace the water valve for double what we just paid another plumber to have the job done right. Either check their work thoroughly or DO NOT USE them!

Your truck drivers are insane! I was just about involved in a multiple car accident southbound along Interstate 35 near the Elko New Market exit this evening. Apparently, this idiot decided that even 80 mph is not fast enough and CUT ME OFF to the point of making me having to slam on my brakes! And he was pulling YOUR COMPANY TRAILER behind!!! This crazy jamoke has caused me from never wanting to do business with your company. Moving forward, you may want to consider your candidates for hiring much more carefully as they can create a bad image for your organization overall.

Generally very good --- almost excellent. He was helpful, gave tips in using the machines and in how best to make a system on which the washer and dryer could sit perfectly. He could have detangled the washer hoses a bit better, though we will redo --- not a big deal. Minneapolis code required that he replace the vent to bring it up to code. The code requires a flap on the outside, which we had, but it wasnt working properly (doesnt close very well). However, although the vent was there, it probably should have been replaced. It was not, but it may have to be replaced.
