The whole process from the initial at home sales consultation to the install was absolutely top notch experience! I agreed on the very fair bid on the 22k generator and installation. I was called by the scheduling the next day and on the schedule inside of 30 days. The day before the install they called to confirm and see how early they could start and not interrupt us, nice touch! The installers showed up on time and explained the whole process and the timeline of when the power would go while wiring in the whole house transfer panel. That was realitively quick and they finished the install of the generator plant and cleaned up my grounding wire eye sore to boot! They informed us of the generator test and proceeded when we confirmed we where good to test. Test went as planned, was quick transfer of power and all was back on with generator power. My agency was looking into emergency back up power options. Initially we had it wired for a 10,000 watt job-site generator. Unfortrnately, this was less than ideal given that many of the power outages were about an hour or two. By the time we had the portable set-up, the power would come back on. We contacted Midwest and John Anderson presented us with a very easy to understand proposal with a couple different options to meet our needs. Scheduling was set with Sarah, and the install went better than expected. They worked around my agencys busy schedule so as not to disrupt our work day. Trevor Tykwinski and his crew did an exceptional job. Unlike the previous electricians, this went off without a hitch. We have great peace of mind, knowing that when the next catastrophe hits, my agency will be up and running to process our clients insurance claims. I would highly recommend any small business business owner, do to the math, and consider the costs of not having power to run your business operations.

Midwest Electric and Generators did a great job of installing and explaining our 16kW Generac standby generator. Nick called 30 minutes in advance of arriving, walked the job with me, listened to my concerns, went right to work, and completed the job as promised. You could tell they knew what they were doing, and the complexity of the install was impressive. Mikes gas hookup crew were experienced and did a top notch job. This project has been on our minds for years, and since we plan to stay in this home we know the generator will provide many years of peace-of-mind.

This is first time we used Home Advisor. Our project was a ceiling fan installation, which included running wire from garage through attic. Electrician, Cory, arrived on time, was respectful of our newly installed hardwood floor, worked fast and is detailed oriented. This was not an easy install, ( is wiring ever an easy install) and he problem solved on his feet. Will definitely recommend Midwest Electric to friends and relatives. Did I mention that Midwest Electric price was very competitive.

Great experience with these guys. They came out quickly to quote the job and had very reasonable pricing. They were able to come out not long after and take care of the work. They were able to install a sub panel in my mechanical room and do a very challenging feeder install through my finished basement ceiling. Arrived on time and the install was quick. They did a good job of going over the operation of the unit and things to look for as far as maintence. The sales guy was far more knowledgible than their competitors and provided a solution to meet all my needs for $3000 less than their competition. Their competion suggested a much bigger generator than what was needed if the system was built with proper switching, and they were selling the same brand of generator.

Midwest Electric installed two ceiling fans in my condominium. Trevor gave me a fair, honest, and timely estimate. Unlike other electric companies, there was no charge to provide the estimate, a big plus. Jake was the installer, and he was professional and did an excellent job. The fans are up and working fine. All communications from the office were timely and professional. I highly recommend Midwest Electric if electrical work is needed.

Coulton was professional and thorough in repairing/replacing our bathroom fan today. Our fan was approx. 40 years old and sounded like a B52 airplane. It was a dirty job and Coulton laid out blankets prior to starting demolition and completely cleaned everything before he left. Midwest installed the generator with the exhaust facing our fresh air intake to the basement. When the power went off and the generator started and carbon monoxide started filling the basement. Alarms saved the lives of our children. So glad we had the alarm and it worked. We have seen this mistake on other homes - please check if you have one.

had braker box installed florescent light and added some light switches in the basement and everything went great everything was cleaned when all the work was done everyone was very knowledgeable about there work that they did. i would hire them again for any electric work that i would be needing. good job guys!!!

Midwest Electric came out to do some electrical work. Installed a ceiling fan that runs off a remote. I needed the remote reprogramed because the lights come on by themselves. Midwest Electric wants to charge me to come back out to re-program. They do not stand behind their work. I will not use them in the future.
