Their contract says if you get injured you need a note from a Doctor. Well I got a note from my Doctor and they told me that my Doctor isnt a real Doctor. My Chiropractor is a DOCTOR and they pretty much undermined her 7 years of schooling. She is licensed by the state and is able to write anyone a note based on injury. The personal trainer said a Chiropractor is only a temporary Doctor, it was a super disturbing phone call and major defamation to all Chiropractors. I hope every Chiropractor out there knows this about Anytime Fitness. My Dr. actually had to speak to the owner of AT and the AT owner told my Dr. she isnt fit to write a note which my Dr. had to explain that she is and that the AT owner can call the MN State Board herself. This is so terrible on the owners part. Did the owner go to school for 7 years to know all of this? The owner told my Dr. that if I could walk to my car that I could go to the gym. The owner had NO idea what kind of injury I had and if I had gone into the gym after my Dr. specifically said I cannot workout that lawsuit would have been on Anytime. I guess they will do and say anything to try and keep members even if it means ruining their reputation in the mean time.

Terrible policies and systems in place. 3 1/2 years ago...I joined this club...and early into my membership my CC had expired. B/c it expired they turned off my key fab. Little did I know they continued to charge me month after month for a service I didnt receive. No phone calls. No emails. No letters. 3 1/2 years later Im in collections for $800+. Had I known they were still charging me (even though they locked me out)...I would have gladly updated my CC with them and continued on. Oh, and my contract was for 18 months...so were talking 18 months after my contract was up, they decide to toss me into collections. Times must be tough for this terrible club...Id stay far away. Id never sign another contract at a gym...most allow month to month these days...this was an awful experience...and rude email correspondence when I confronted them...

If I could rate a zero star I would. The facility is okay but customer service is confusing and costly. Get EVERYTHING in Writing! I cannot stress this enough. My wife and I signed up and learned that gym life was not for us. We called three months before our contact was to end and asked to end our membership when the contact was set to expire. They told us to call back in September to confirm, which we did. Now they are telling us that we owe for October because they need a month notice. WHAT?! ! We did notify them and we did what they said. Why are we being punished?.. Worst part is, you cant talk to anyone who can do anything.The people in the office are just slaves to a computer program. If you like being in a cult you cannot get out of, then go right ahead and sign up.

Tons of experience with this place. If you try to quit this gym, make sure you notify the owner AND manager well in advance and GET IT IN WRITING for both. Monitor your bank account for extra charges during and after your membership period, but dont expect to get it back no matter how strong your evidence is. If you get a trainer here youll pay premium prices for the Twin Cities worst paid trainers, because over half of your money (60% now I believe) pours straight into the owners pocket, a fact they neglect to advertise. All of the great team members from a couple years ago have been fired, especially the managers who only seem to last 6 months at best. Want to see something interesting? ... Watch how long the female employees last in this gym. Theyve gone through ALOT.

The gym is fine, what you need and nothing extra; however I had a very bad experience with the owner. I bought a student membership that included the summer and school breaks but over Winter break when I tried to contact the club the owner rudely told me that I did not get to come in over breaks, that the employee (who I liked) who I made the deal with was being punished and that I would be in no way compensated. He acted as if I should have been familiar with the anytime fitness cooperate policies that he used to justify cheating me, was pointlessly offensive and said it was my fault for trusting his employee. I will never go back and would not recommend the gym to anyone who is not a lawyer because apparently thats the only way you can get a fair deal with this place.

Ok, gym. Most of the time I went in, the weights were never put back. Some machines took weeks to get parts to get fixed. Just really not overall that nice for me. I have not had any help from this club when I want to quit. They say theyll try to help me, but completely do nothing... Also, after telling you that they cant help you, ask you to come into the new gym and well help you with whatever. Doesnt really make sense to say "we help" when if fact they do no such thing. I will be going in to quit, pay the rest of my 11 months of unused gym (because apparently they have no termination fee, like any other company.)

I have never been treated so poor as per a customer service situation. I do not use the services and I have asked to cancel however they will not allow me to cancel while in contract even though I have offered to pay a early term fee. They said I have to move or have a medical condition to stop paying. I have payed over $600 in fees and have hardly used the services. They responded that is not there problem. They said they would rather have me post to every site about how they will not allow me to buy my way out of contract than let me discontinue my membership.

Renewed my membership thinking I would be going to the Apple Valley location, only to find this gym was closer to my house. Little did I know this would be the best gym experience I have ever had. Clean, great lighting, tons of equipment (that even at the busiest times youll still have open machines), and just an overall great environment. Definitely a 5/5!

I have been a member for almost 2 years and love the new location. Staff is always friendly, the equipment in great condition, the club is clean and safe. I like the classes and the possibility to select and play a virtual class when the hall is available. I have recommended the place to a number of friends because we feel comfortable there.

Ive tried to renew my membership now 3 times and the manager is never there. Shawn the old manager was really good and helpful. New manager is impossible to find. Time to give my money to a different club

Place is awesome! Employees are great, other members are nice. Huge layout
