Will go elsewhere next time. My husband went to Hand and Stone in Plymouth and raved about his massage; his masseuse told him exactly where his knots were and what was probably causing them. This time it was me that was in desperate need of relief from pain in my shoulder, and I chose the St Louis Park location. I selected "pain relief" as my reason for visiting when signing in. Other than an icy/hot alternative they applied, I wouldnt have been able to tell the difference between this and a general deep tissue massage. The massage was relaxing but gave me no relief from pain. He didnt tell me anything regarding which muscles were sore or where my knots were like my husband had enjoyed. Plus, the icy/hot application cost me $12, I found out without warning while paying; he tried to sell me a bottle of it for $15 as I left, even though I said I couldnt yet tell if the application was helpful. I didnt throw a fit about the extra cost because I just wanted to get away from the cashier pressuring me into a monthly plan.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. The facial itself was great but customer service not so much! I will not be returning, and Id advise you to be cautious. My friend and I went in to get facials with a groupon we purchased. Only to find out that Hand and Stone charged me on my account (credit card was needed for reservations) that I did not approve nor signed. When I found out and called them up the front desk was no help AT ALL and she could not give me a definitive answer as to why I was charged (my credit card was not present due to the groupon). The only response I received was that the "owner" would be in later that day and will give me a call... no call, EVER. The same thing happened to my friend, she was overcharged and there was no call for explanation either. Neither was refunded and no response! I have never experience such poor/ unprofessional management.

This is MY place, my home away from home, my enjoyment, relaxation, and every time I visit for my Facials I come away feeling like I have done wonderful things for myself. After all, I am loving this establisnment for me, my value in myself, my pride. AND the professionals here at Hand & Stone in SLP are fabulous. The entire staff makes me feel important. I am a club member & I want everyone I love to pamper themselves while visiting here for services. My work has just begun to make my family happy. Blessed.

They got me in last minute and did a wonderful job! The atmosphere was very soothing and pleasant, receptionist was super warm and friendly and the masseuse did a wonderful job. Richard actually listened to what I said was bugging me and worked on that area, trying different ways to work out the issue instead of just doing a typical massage routine. Would highly recommend and should the need arise again, I will definitely go to them!

I was very happy with my visit this week. It was my first facial I have ever done but not my first time at a spa. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Kind and helpful staff. They filled me in on the process and answered all my questions along the way. I left feeling like I had a brand new baby face. It was so great that I signed up to be a member and I will be back in a month.

I would not recommend the peppermint scalp massage! I left with wet hair and the accompanying scalp massage was awful! My best friend had a similar experience at the Plymouth location. No wet hair just a glump of gel at her neckline and a bad scalp massage. I had an AMAZING facial by Samantha! I would highly recommend her.

Booked a couples massage with our package. They did not inform us at booking that their would be a extra charge until we went to check out. I feel that this is something that should have been explain to us prior to booking a couples massage with our certificates otherwise we would have just had two separate massages

A great experience. Atmosphere and customer service were both excellent. I told the masseuse a couple issues I was having. He took care of them immediately so I could relax and enjoy the rest of my massage. Cant wait to go back!
