I hate to be the odd one out, but the least I can do is share my own experience (of yesterday). My computer was having issues with its display, and myself being no expert, I decided to try this place based on its reviews. A friend had also told me about it so that was a plus. I arrived and was greeted warmly by Keith, who was very personable. He took a look at my laptop and, impressively, within 5 minutes (or less even) had the screen up and running again. He said he wasnt sure what to charge me, but we agreed on something minimal. He took me on a small tour of the store and in conclusion said that the work came with a 30-day guarantee, and that if anything happened I could feel free to come back or call. I returned to my house and hooked up the laptop. Dismay! Lo and behold the screen had zonked out, just like before. I dialed strike twice and Keith answered. I told him what was happening and how I was trying to fix it, and asked him if I should come back. He sounded impatient over the phone and gave me directions on how to hotkey the pc to the tv monitor I was working with. Then he proceeded to tell me how I was wasting his time and how it really wasnt his problem anymore, as he had fixed what I had come in for (even though it seemingly wasnt fixed). Then he laughed and said that he couldnt even take his girlfriend out to dinner with what I paid him. Uh... ok? I asked him what it was he wanted me to do. He sighed and reluctantly said that if I REALLY wanted to come back that evening or the following morning, they were open from 8 until 6. No thanks, Ill pass. edit: in his response he is misleading about me not being able to afford the half-hour rate (as well as being an insult to their company). I could, and can, afford it; but for the three minutes he spent tinkering with the display we both reached the consensus that the lesser charge would be fine.

I took my laptop last night. Laptop would not turn on. One of the guys working there took it, fix it in thirty seconds and gave it back to me with a smile and no charge. Wow! I thought that kind of service does not exist any more in this country. At another place they would have taken it. Charged me $75 fee just to look at it and it would take them 9 days to do it. I strongly recommend Strike Twice.

Phew! Shout out to Strike Twice computer repair in St Louis Park. These guys are awesome. Unlike the Best Buy Geek Squad that marched me from the repair to purchase area in >5 minutes flat.
