My experience at Trendi Salon was awful! I went there for the first time to have an up-do and makeup done. The stylist curled my hair and used so much product that my hair was crunchy and unnatural looking. A good portion of the curls had crimps from the curling iron and other pieces were not even fully curled. The stylist dropped the comb numerous times and continued to use it in my hair. Overall the up-do looked terrible. Next I went to make up where I told the stylist I do not wear coverup and she said that this will not even look like you are wearing any...well my freckles were gone after the application. I showed her a picture of a natural looking cat eye for my makeup and when she finished up she realized that they had no toss-able mascara applicators so she used the brush RIGHT OUT OF THE TUBE. She then proceeded to use the same mascara brush on the women I was getting the services done with. I was blown away. Last step was lipstick... the stylist managed to do a good job with the lips until she dropped the applicator ON THE FLOOR and picked it up... then put the used applicator into the lip gloss tube and went to used it on my lips! Talk about huge health code violations! Let alone that was the last lip applicator so the other stylist used the testers directly on the women I went with. I looked like I was going to the circus... I went home and had to shower because there was too much damage done to be fixed. Luckily I was able to do my hair and makeup in an hour before pictures. The worst part of the whole experience was I spoke to the owner Barb about my dissatisfaction with the services performed and she said because I was not there I cannot do anything for you. All I can say is I would not recommend this salon because of how poorly the owner (of all people) handled the situation. I did not even receive a sincere apology. I am sure some most of the stylists are very talented at the salon however who treats their customers like that?

My last visit 2 months ago, I came in for a bang trim, was told $7. Went to pay, she changed it to $10. Thats not what bothers me, I said I dont appreciate being lied to when Im told all bang trims are a flat rate $7- including the stylist Erica who did my hair and changed it without reason. What bothers me is i call to schedule an appointment just a few minutes ago with barb the manager, they said yea they had a cancellation for the next day, okay great Ill take it- I give them my name and suddenly they have to let me go and call me back, which they didnt I did. So I call them back saying I was trying to get my hair appointment scheduled, and they said they were mistaken about an opening tomorrow and barb is actually booked until NEXT YEAR. Its August mind you, so I say okay who is available for just a trim? And they have no openings whatsoever for the next 7-8 weeks. I dont appreciate being lied to, not just from my last visit, but when I call to give them service and they lie to me so I dont come in. I was never rude and was extremely polite when I said I dont appreciate you lying to me, which equals them not wanting my service. Which is fine but dont LIE again and make up your salon is magically booked several months out and make no attempt to schedule a person. Because my sister called right after and youll never guess how many openings this place had, including the appointment with barb tomorrow. I find that to be sickening and how a place stays in business when they treat anyone that way is just surprising. I hope nobody else receives poor treatment from this business the way I have.

I have been going to this salon for over a year. Jennie does an amazing job on my hair. The staff has always treated me like a valued customer and the service has always been excellent. Much better than the service I have received at some more expensive salons in Woodbury. I used to get my nails done by Barb and she was always friendly and took great effort in the details and making my nails look wonderful. The only reason that I dont get them there anymore is because I have fake nails now, and that isnt a service that they offer. Jennie did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos and I loved everything! She is the one to see for the retro style that I wanted. She also did my hair and makeup for my wedding and everyone loved it as well. My hair stayed in place all evening...every curl in place. I will continue to go here and will recommend it to anyone!

On a desperate search to have my color touched up, Trendi was able to offer the earliest and most convenient appointment. Of course I was nervous to go to a different salon, but I needed to find a local stylist who I didnt have to book out 3 months just to get in! I saw Katie for a Balayage color and cut. She suggested the Balayage vs. my old traditional paint-between with highlights due to my need to cover greys but want for highlights. She made me feel comfortable not pushed to try something I didnt want to. The whole experience was perfect and not only did my hair turn out amazing but I was able to get in again within 6 weeks. I am so glad I found this salon, I will be coming back and have already told all my friends!

Erika is the queen of blonde and balayage. I’ve been going to her for a little under two years and she is without a doubt the best stylist I’ve ever had! She carefully listens to your vision and instinctively knows exactly what to do to get you to your desired result. You can literally show her a picture of what you want and she does it even better than you expected! She’s also great at guiding you through the process and giving you advice on how to keep your hair healthy and beautiful. She makes you feel fabulous each and every time you visit. I look forward to my appointments with her and know she’s always going to send me out the door feeling fab! Thank you, Erika, and thank you to the entire Trendi fam!

I have had three different stylist do my cut and color at Trendi, mostly because the first one I booked with was going on materinity leave. Barb, the owner, did my hair next and she did a fabulous job. She has a light touch and is very concious of your particular likes and dislikes. I landed with Ally (mostly because she was available the next time I booked) and she does a fantastic job as well. She always has some fun color in her own hair so I feel that shes pretty fun and creative. Its a delightful place with fun design and products beyond just the usual hair supplies. They have a spa that seems really nice too, however, Ive not had the opportunity to use any of the service yet. Check it out!

What a great experience I had a Trendi Salon and Spa today. First, the whole place has been newly remodeled and it looks wonderful. The staff is so friendly and welcoming that I was at ease before my spa facial and massage. I've been in the area for some time and have had spa services else where but Trendi is the place to go! Christine was amazing, her massage was so through and she worked the problem areas I requested with expertise. I had a facial too, and Christine did not disappoint. It was so relaxing, and soothing. I left a noodle, looking radiant and can't wait for my next appointments in 4 weeks! Thank you
