I love the store. On my last trip to ulta I picked up a couple items, one was found in their clearance section and some products that were marked as on sale. I went to go pay, the item from the clearance section rang up to only be $0.01! The cashier asked another worker about this and they said a customer probably returned it. It was a body spray, so no big deal to me. Then when she rang up the products that were marked as on sale, their register didnt give the discount. When I pointed this out, the cashier had asked me to show her where I found them. When I showed her she pointed out that, that particular sale had ended 7 days ago! I was fine with paying full price though. However she talked to the same co-worker from before what to do. That worker said to still give me the discount, she didnt know how to but called over a manager, who not only gave me the discount that ended a week prior, but also gave me an extra coupon to save me even more money. This is exactly why I go to Woodbury, just for this particular Ulta store branch.

Horrible. I went with my mom this morning to get hair product. We were both wearing comfortable clothing, because we knew we would be shopping all day. Make-up was minimal... but, you know, we didnt figure we had to "dress up" to run into Ulta for a quick purchase. But, I guess we do. Service was rediculous... no one wanted to help. I could have just shrugged it off, until we walked by the fancy-pants makeup section and an employee (chunky girl, medium bob, dark hair with blue tips...) actually had the nerve to point us out to another employee and make a comment about how we looked. No, really. She did this! She quickly realized I knew what she was doing and turned away. I mean, really Ulta Woodbury? The other reviews on here arent fabulous either... maybe its time to make some changes... I would start with the girl with blue tips. Oh, and by the way, I was going to purchase some other makeup, but I decided to take my business to Sephora. (Awesome service at the JCP Woodbury!)

As a single mom with a feisty one year old and a full time job I look forward to spoiling myself once in awhile with a nice haircut. That did not happen..... I came in for my 4:15 apt only to be told by the stylist, Erica in a very rude manner that my apt was actually at 3:45. I offered to show her the email with the confirmation of my apt that said otherwise. In a continued rude manner was told that the online booking was faulty and sorry youre out of luck, could not fit me in for a simple hair cut could not fit me in after. I will never come to this hair salon. I could not believe how rude Erica was to someone she has not even met. The salon should be ashamed they let hair stylist treat people with disdain and rudeness.

Im writing this because I went into Ulta for a birthday gift for my mother, brought in a makeup bag from Victoria secret to fill (I asked ahead of time to make sure it was ok) I was followed, a sales associate asked me if I needed help I told her sure. She came up and announced "This palette is pretty but its probably more than you wanted to spend" EXCUSE ME??!!! I am so glad she didnt work on commission. If you base every customer on how much you think is in their wallet than shame on you! If this is how Ulta trains employees I would much rather travel to Sephora where they are more expensive, but give 1,000 times better service. I ended up spending $230 here and felt like I was a criminal the entire time. Great

I went in to buy an ulta exclusive product and was told they were out, but to come back the next day when a new shipment was expected. I checked online that they had what I wanted a few hours before heading in and the website showed they had stock. When I got there, they were entirely out of what I wanted. I asked a sales associate, whom I practically had to corner, where the product was and was rudely told "were out. I just restocked it so theres no more". No eye contact, no effort to direct me to a similar product, no offer to have it sent over from another store.

This was my first visit to Ulta, and I am very satisfied. I was in need of help to findicate a hydrating foundation that wouldnt cause me to break out since Im prone to that. After I asked a girl to help me, she was more than willing to give me advice but decided her coworker, Beth, would be able to answer more of my questions. Beth helped me get the right color and perfect products. And she actually tested them out on my face and explained how to put apply the makeup best. Thanks! :) Ill be back!

I have always been pleased with the service and value Ive received from the Ulta salon over the past few years. Missy and Erica have provided great service without ever making me feel pushed to pay for additional services, etc. As for the rest of the store, there have been times when I encountered sales staff who were not knowledgable or not helpful with an expensive hair drying that quit working. Five stars based on my salon experiences.

You almost have to dress up to get customer service here, for the most part the staff doesnt want to help, so they try not to make eye contact and scoot off to the back room if you come near them and you dont look like you throw away money everywhere. Plus they offer that magazine thing, DONT DO IT. They take your card information and send it off to that magazine company, so a month later you get charged $24 every month.

Ulta as a company is great. The day I went was the first day of the NYC bogo sale lol so needless to say that section did not have much to pick from. The store for how new and the area should be better maintained. That is my one complaint really keep the store nice!

Staff is not helpful and you can tell that they dont care what you have to say or ask. They are also not knowledgeable about products and are lazy when it comes to putting things away like shipment.

The cosmetology department people suck! They ignore their customers. Every time Ive gone there, they act as if Im not even there and pretend to be to be busy to help me. Stuck up people!
