Tours are, depending on the day of the week, 10 am or 11 am and 1 pm or 2 pm. We took a 2 pm in late October. No reservations were needed. The boat has a lower deck which is enclosed and an upper deck which is exposed to the elements. Since the weather was nice almost everyone sat on the top deck. The problems is that the tour guide stands at the back of the boat on the lower deck. Only a small number of the people on the upper deck could see. Since the lower deck was almost empty, the very few people on the lower deck had a front row seat. So sitting on the lower deck at the back of the boat puts you in the front row seat. The guide describes the shrimping equipment, sets out the trawling net and then explains shrimps, shrimping in the area and shrimp boats. After 20 minutes, he hawls in the net, pours the catch on the deck and picks up and explains the items in the catch, shrimp, fish, jellyfish, etc. He also feeds the gulls and on pelican taking along. Worth the price of a ticket, i.e., $15 per adult. Children are $12, I think.

Great experience! We went on this little tour on Monday 6/9/17. Great staff, and loved all the information given along with catching some shrimp. I would recommend this to all. We will be back! Also the following day we went on a Offshore fishing trip which couldnt have been any better. The boat was called Strictly Business Great Capt. along with his first mate. Caught some Red fish and some Mackerel. When we got back to shore our great Capt. Brandon filet the fish, and we brought the fish down the street where it was fried up in some of the best fish fry ever. The place was called the Filling Station. We met up with some others who were on the fishing trip as well , and ate some fresh fish. Totally unforgettable ! Thank you! Thank you!

My family and I went out on the fishing trip (not the educational shrimping trip) and was very disappointed. Their advertising implies they will take you out to a reef to fish. The reality we were barely away from the pier (6 minutes) before we made our first stop and told we could drop our lines. The boat moved two more times but never more than 5 minutes. The entire trip was spent inside the harbor bottom fishing in about 12 feet of water. When we finally headed back in it only took 12 minutes from start of engines till we tied up. Save your money.

We went on this trip while we were on Vacation the first week on June. We did the shrimp tour and it was awesome. We learned a lot about shrimp and the staff was very knowledgable and friendly. It lasted for a little over an hour and was well worth the $16 we paid to do it. I would highly recommend this, it is fun for all ages.

Educational, entertaining, and relaxing. The guys were funny and friendly. The trip lasted around an hour and was very affordable. The boat was not crowded. We sat on bottom and had no problems seeing or hearing the guys talking and showing off the catch.

Went on this trip 14 years ago. We were so happy to see it still running. One of the best things you can do while visiting Biloxi. Get there early to make sure you get a seat. The cruise caps at 49!

Great experience for the kids. Not only about shrimp fishing guide has a lot of historical information about the area and fishing in the area. A definite must if you are in the area.

Nice short boat tour about how they shrimp. Could of been better if we went out in the Gulf farther. But very informative and knowledgeable about the fish and sea creatures.

We took the fishing tour. Three hours on the water with everything you need to catch some fish. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and clean your fish on site.
