First off let me just say, Beale Street Landing was kind of a waste. Really nothing to do there except get on the boat, gift shop and maybe look at the view. Also, I went there with my friend to skate, and I understand getting kicked out for skating, but I got kicked out of the restaurant. How could someone expect me to know what to do when one guy says I cant sit here than a lady says I can. I used to go in there almost everyday for water and to sit and the same lady would come and give us water and great service. Now I really cant stand the place. Really not a fan of anything except the fact that they have great skatespots. If youre going to build something like that, at least have an indoor or shady outdoor seating area with fans. Theres no way to get out of the heat without having to pay for overpriced food or just standing inside. Want to go somewhere nice go to harbor town. As a local and someone who used to go to school in Harbortown, Beale street ladning is very much like an overpriced museum. Want to have the real experience, go to Harbortown, sit on the bluff, walk the trails and when your done, Downtown is right there.

walked from the area of the fedex forum over to beale street landing..watched the mississippi river as it rolled through its muddy banks. There are numerous places to sit and watch. there are also paddle boats here that give off an immense amount of diesel fumes (stay up wind if possible) very few people were out this day, but it was over cast and misting and very cool outside. i enjoyed the fact that there was noone there being pushy to buy something, eat something or do something...i could just chill out and enjoy.

The now opened Riverside Grill is great with its river view and proximity to arriving steamboat passengers. We found good food and unexpectedly great fresh salads. Beale Street Landing opens up the river access with enjoyable small park venues and continuation of the walking trails along the water. Looking at a current Paddle wheeler schedule I see potentially over ten thousand visitors have embarked, ended their journey or stopped over in Memphis already because of this new portal into the city. Great facility!

Very unique place with incredible view of the Mississippi River. Sat on the dock in giant rocking chairs and enjoyed the best view in Memphis! Great beverage selection at the restaurant. You can bring your drinks outside and sit on the dock. Theres also a covered patio if its too hot. Didnt eat there but Im sure the food is fantastic since the place is run by the owners of the Majestic Grille. If youre in Memphis, dont miss this.

Since the weather was so beautiful today, I decided to visit Beale Street Landing. What a treat. Easy parking, lovely walkways and fun going up and down the red ramp. The Pinta and Nina ships were docked, so that was an added attraction. I did not eat in the restaurant, but I saw several ladies having a glass of wine in the open seating area. Lovely way to spend part of the afternoon.

My experience was with the top dog (dockmaster) of Beale Street Landing, Ceisel. I worked for a riverboat that docked here when we came to Memphis, and Ceisel rocked at his job, and made ours a lot easier. He was ultra professional, very helpful, and an overall pleasant guy. Glad hes around there to run the place.

Went on a riverboat ride. It was a great ride and a beautiful view. Things to consider: there was a lot of walking to get to the boat, the river is kinda smelly on the bottom level (perfectly fine on the upper decks), and the decor is fitting of an old style river boat. The experience overall was romantic and fun.

We took the 2 hour riverboat tour. What an educational experience. Id highly recommend this excursion. Youll certainly learn a lot of interesting facts about Memphis and the Mississippi River. The tour guide was so entertaining and made the boat tour fascinating.

Wasnt too crowded or too long of a wait. The lower level is more air conditioned if you go in the summer but you cant hear the great tour guide! The man we had was like a teacher and I wasnt even bothered to learn out of school because he was EXCELLENT!

Very nice place to just walk along the river and sit in the grass. Being able to walk over the building on the grass hill was cool. The gift shop inside was very nice and had a variety of Memphis related stuff at great prices.
