Roto rooter is trash I called had them come out they did not know what the hell they was doing. Said it was a collapsed pipe. It in fact was not he then proceeded to say it needed pumped it did not need pumped but they had there buddy come pump it for 250$ all together it cost me 406$. Then it did the same thing again so I had someone come check my septic pump out guess what it was clogged up and overheating and shutting off. Therefore it couldnt keep up with the sewage intake and was backing up in the house. The guy that came out and actually fixed it took him 15 min to find the problem and it cost me 500$ all roto rooter of Gulfport is a rip off. So I put a reviewe on them and it was bad. Guess who called the son of the owner he was raising his voice telling me I was saying he ripped people off and that he even came back to cover the hole up he dug. Yep you heard it he said he done me a favor and covered the hole up so my daughter wouldnt fall in it. Thats funny I could have swore that was part of the job. So then I put another review out there. Guess who called.the dad so I had to tell the story again and he said I will get back to you I promise you have my word and if roto rooter would give me him the 250$ for the pump truck he would then give it back. Well well guess who never called and I have not heard from any of them. So not only will they rip you off there word is trash. Do not use roto rooter..........UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE..........since this and many other reviews the owner has cut me a check back for the pump truck and he has apologized and said sorry for the trouble and the time it has taken to get this resolved.

Technician Barlow returned call within 5 minutes of reaching the call center and arrived within 30 minutes to my home. I called after hours and it was nearly midnight on Wednesday 8/19/2015. He was polite, friendly, very helpful, and very patient with me as I asked questions. He quickly went to work to find the problem and offered detailed solutions. He had to return later that morning to do a more intensive repair which involved installing pipe along with other services. He arrived at the time he said he would and completed flushing my houses plumbing system and installing a clean-out. I am very pleased with my experience with Roto-Rooter and their services. He was not bothered by having to come out at midnight and was eager to help despite being dragged out at such a late time. He even fixed the leak in the Master Bath tub which made me even happier as its been an issue for a while now. I would recommend him and his local branch of Roto-Rooter to anyone who needed plumbing services. I also recommend anyone with a home make use of their camera inspections to see if a problem can be fixed before it becomes very costly later down the line.

Of course, I had a clog. I started calling for help (my Mom keeps cards and I used them), Problem was, no one could come or give me an estimated time. One company said it would be 2 days! So then I called Roto-Rooter (which is what I wanted to do in the first place). I talked to a nice young lady named Memory who informed me that all the techs were out but that Id be next in line. Yay! Later, two techs showed up, Cameron and Jonny. They were very polite and answered my numerous questions. They had a camera and showed me where the clog was then they used some equipment (the famous Roto-Rooter!!!) to clear it out. In the time it took for me to go inside and look at the puddle of icky water in the tub, it started draining. After the clog was gone, they put the camera BACK IN the pipe and showed me where potential problems were going to crop up in the future. When Cameron wrote up the bill, (explaining what the charges were for) he also included an estimate for the future work. He also explained what was going to be done in the future procedure. I would recommend Roto-rooter in the future and especially Cameron and Jonny. They were FAST!

After using another co as we had just moved in to our home and had a back up in our main line the service the other co didnt remedy the issue three weeks later I called Roto rooter . The experience was perfect , I called and a nice girl answered and explained that she would have someone out that next morning .. she called that morning as promised and a tech was quickly dispatched.Marvin ran a camera through the system and quickly found the bad section of main line . He jumped into action digging under the house till he fount the connection to cast iron , pulled the bad section out and replaced the line with updated material . Theses guys are the best . I would recommend them highly to anyone that needs any kind of plumbing work , from maintenance, to emergency . Thank you A+

I called root-rooter on a saturday and they were here in about 45 minutes. No weekend or holiday charges because it was during the week so I agreed to them coming out, they even quoted how much it would be after giving a description of the problem and agreeing to their fair price. Cameron and Johnny came out and were very professional and didnt mind at all that I was over their shoulder picking their brains on the whole plumbing system. I had a seriously clogged drain in the dwv under the slab and were able to clear it and even gave a 30 guarantee where if it clogged again, theyd come out for free to take care of it. I was very impressed with their work and would definitely call again if I had another serious problem like the one I had. Great job to them!

Our sewage backup issue was quickly and expertly diagnosed by Cameron and Johnny and temporary repairs were made Sunday evening to at least get us functioning facilities. The following day permanent repairs were conducted by replacing a collapsed sewage line. A small backhoe had to be obtained when it was found that a large portion of the back line was very thin walled and in very bad condition. Electrical, water, and gas lines traversed the excavation area but were located and worked around with expert ease. All task were accomplished professionally. The job site was cleaned after job completion and landscaped to perfection. This type of service deserves positive comment. Thanks Cameron and Johnny!

My hose faucet in the back yard broke and we had to turn off the water at the main. The faucet broke off right at the wall so the remaining pipe was very short. Not being able to fix it myself I called Roto-Rooter in Gulfport they assured me they could fix it and they had a plumber working in the local area and would send him over. Tim C. the technician arrived, assessed the problem and got to work. In short he had to replace a tee and about 12 inches of line and had the water in the house back on in no time. Tim was completely professional and explained everything as he went along, I am satisfied with the work and would call Roto-Rooter again.
