tl;dr Prompt, honest, professional, fair prices, with above and beyond helpfulness. Highly recommended. As a brand new customer, Howe Brothers is now my go-to place for plumbing solutions. One thing to be aware of, they do not take cards, so bring cash. I emailed them at 1 am with questions on how to fix a badly leaking faucet, thinking Id hear back after the weekend. There was an email waiting for me first thing in the morning, asking for a pic of the problem. I sent that off with some more questions, then heard back within a couple minutes, including an offer to loan me a tool and a recommendation on where to buy one if preferred. He even correctly identified the make/model of faucet based solely on a picture of a handles inner mechanism. Thanks to his suggestions, I managed to get everything taken apart and brought the pieces with me to the shop. He saw immediately what the problem was and handed me the parts I needed. He explained what went wrong, why, and how to fix it. I also asked if another part could be a problem, and he said he could tell us that part was not a problem without even checking, but instead of waving away my concern he checked anyway. I also appreciated that he talked *to* me. Not at me and not over me to my husband. Thanks to his instruction the handle was easy to reassemble and now our faucet works as it should. As for cost, it seemed fair. $20 for a new stem. He could have easily sold us a new nut for an additional $20, and a second stem, but said the nut we have just needs to be cleaned up and the other handle probably just needs a new washer. This, and the A+ customer service, is what earns loyal repeat customers. I did email a few local contractors to get quotes on fixing this. The only one that actually responded wouldnt give me an exact quote, but wanted to replace the entire faucet for several hundred dollars. So yeah. Howe Brothers saved me a lot of time and money.

I needed a new Kohler faucet cartridge and after going to True Value I was told to check here. They had the part and the guy was super friendly. My only complaint is that I feel I may have been dramatically overcharged for the part. I never actually saw a price marked anywhere. I just ask the guy how much it was and he said $35 cash. I purchased the part for $35 and he threw in two seats for free. He also gave me some free advice about installation. The reason I feel like I may have been overcharged is that I found the same part else ware for $15 later. $15 to $35 seems to be a large price difference even for a small local shop. In the end I would recommend this place as they had the part I needed to get the job done and at the time I was willing to pay $35 to get what I needed. Just do some price checking beforehand.

I bought a tankless waterheater and RO filter. I cant say enough good things about this place. As other reviews have said Regan dispenses his knowledge freely and the customer experience is amazing. There are many positives, but here are my highlights. 1. Regan worked through the install with me in diagram form. This meant I got all the parts I needed in one trip saving me time. 2. I also feel like I got quality products. Not just the cheapest parts available (and the price difference isnt that big). 3. I got advise on how to maintain them. This is big as long term I know I will not be replacing it in a few years. This place is what true customer service is about - I just wish there was an electrical store that offered the same service.

Needed plumbing parts on a Saturday morning, and this place came thru with the exact parts I needed and great advice for installation! Regans calm, helpful demeanor impressed me so, that I returned to buy a toilet & all needed supplies. Impressive customer service, very knowledgable and willing to answer/explain any questions you may have on your project. Very professional small business!

These guys give great advice, have high quality parts and can get pretty much anything. I got tired of replacing Menards toilet flaps every year, and they sold me ones that will last for years. I needed some parts for a hundred year old sink, and they got them. Im a cheap guy, and youll save money and time in the long run buying parts from Howe Brothers.
