These guys know their stuff! Excellent service, very informed technicians, and great to work with. I had Daniel come into my house, everything explained, quoted, and done within a few hours. I needed a toilet and it was installed that same day! I was incredibly impressed. Also each technician has an ipad which was great because I could see what I was paying for and what all needed to be purchased for the job at hand. Also they have a wonderful service plan where they send a technician to my home once a year to check on all the plumbing to make sure everything is working properly. I dont have very much experience with plumbing so this plan means I will not have to worry if something breaks down or leaks. My house was built in 72 so who knows what problems will arise. I feel very comfortable knowing I have these guys to rely on to make sure everything is running smoothly. I would recommend these guys to anyone, family, friends, and strangers. Great business and great people!

I have had Sunkel Plumbing on speed dial lately. Dale replaced a split, leaking pipe behind my basement wall, replaced two aging water heaters that were on their last legs and is working a project to run gas lines to a pool heater and fire bowls. Dale explains in detail the options available to me, the work he will perform, and the cost. He then performs the work in a clean, professional and skilled manner. Jason has been onsite a number of times as well, providing expertise and assistance. The knowledge he provided about my Sentry system is greatly appreciated. Whether here in person, on the phone or through email Jason is often involved, ensuring things run smoothly for a good result. Sunkel Plumbing has been very responsive and performs high quality work at a fair price. They are prompt, easy to work with and flexible when necessary.

We called about sump pump maintenance. We had no water problems but had assumed the pump, which hadnt turned on during the hard rains during the last day, SHOULD have been running. Dale came out to look it over and upon discovering that the pump was possibly 25+ years old, he could have made us feel like we needed to purchase a new one right then and there. I asked him to give us an estimate to replace it just so we would have an idea of what a replacement would cost when we finally do it, and he obliged, but he wasnt at all pushy. He mentioned a few things we should watch for with our current pump but didnt try to push a unit. He was more concerned about taking care of the customer than making a sale, and because of that, we will consider Sunkel first when we are ready to replace, as well as for other future plumbing needs.

This was the best group I have ever had the chance to work with. I had called a few other companies prior to calling them and had quotes of up to$600 for a problem I had with a toilet. I called Sunkel and a technician listened to me describe the issue and what others had said to me. He then proceeded to tell me that he would be happy to come out and take care of it but if I wanted I could go to home depot and but an auger for $10.00 and that should take care of it. The worst case is he would still have to come out but I wouldnt be paying him to do what he would do first. He sent a video link showing how to do it and everything. It did solve the problem and things are working now. I will be only using them from now on and recommending them to everyone I know.

Absolutely terrible experience!!!! DO NOT HIRE THEM!!! A non-overtime rate to unclog a main drain cost just about $800, they said it was roots. They also said it would be about $500 which magically turned into $800. $800 is not "about $500" Then 2 weeks later was having the same issue and they told me to come out and do it again would be $600. Roots dont grow that fast!! Back up your service if youre not going to do it right the first time. Called another company and it cost $260 to come out on a Sunday!!! For what I paid them I would have been well on my way to completely replacing the main sewer line to the house. What a joke!

The work done was very pricey to me but either way they came in quick addressed what they thought the initial problem was, took ample pictures and wrote up paperwork I could send to my lawyer for plumbing issues not disclosed when I bought my home. Even having to have take things out and refit pipping they did it quick and efficiently and explained it in a manner I understood and they completely understood the stress I was in and made everything as painful as possible even running everything before they left to show me it all works and they cleaned up the mess of which half a made thank you guys

This outfit is TOP NOTCH! Daniel From their organization both handled the call and went out on the call. He helped our daughter in Normal with an issue she was having with her home (mobile). Not only did he ascertain the issue and keep us informed the entire time, he was able to do so on a SUNDAY and with a smile. Daniel had such a superb attitude and professional demeanor that we felt obligated to share. Sunkel Plumbing has our business going forward. And Daniel our praise for a job well done.

We have been using Sunkel Plumbing as our go-to plumber for many years. We continue to use them because we always receive good service. I was especially pleased with our service technician, Dale, and his assistant on this visit. They were very professional as well as friendly and courteous. They seemed to be very competent and were very patient in explaining the service to me. They were very respectful of our property and cleaned up thoroughly after finishing the service.

Our toilet had clogging problem. Called technician and he used a string to remove clogging and done it in 3 mins. He didnt put any new parts but He charged $155 for 3 mins which is very high. On the top of it he scratched toilet bowl but he didnt tell me on the same. I felt it is totally money minded and I am not recommending to my friends any more. I am totally disappointed. I would rather Happy if he would have charged reasonable amount for his work.

I called on Wednesday evening for a gas leak repair, and the technician was friendly, and arrived quickly. However, just a couple of days later I smelled gas again, and Nicor came back out. It was learned I had a new leak, at a juncture where the Sunkel technician would have had to have taken the line apart. I guess it wasnt tightened sufficiently, and because of that I had to be inconvenienced again, and am out an additional $60.00.

I called Sunkle Plumbing on a Friday night and they were at our house the next day at 9 AM. Customer service was extremely nice and got me in touch with a tech asap. We had the pleasure of working with Dale the next day and he was amazing. He fixed our leak within an hour and also replaced a corroded line as well. No one likes to deal or pay with plumbing issues but working with this company really made it a great experience!
