The Ridgeland Post Office service is terrible. They are a prime example of why the post office service will eventually be dissolved. I have been tracking a package and received an alert it is at the post office at 9 AM. It took 13 hours to transport it from Jackson to Ridgeland. The package is already two days late. I called the post office at 9:50 AM and told them I would just come there to get it and the clerk said I cant get it until the next day. Even though the package is there, they wont let me have the package until tomorrow. I asked why and the clerk said it is on a pallet in the back. Well, why cant they go to the pallet and simply get the package? I realize the question is rhetorical but it proves my point. UPS or Fed Ex would have had it here on time. The Ridgeland Post Office epitomizes the incompetence of the US Postal Service in general. Update: After asking to have the Post Master call me I received and update that my package was out for delivery.

Every time I have something to do there, its like walking on eggshells to get it done. You never know what type of mood the clerks will be in. And theyre all slow about getting things done. If I call, I get nothing but attitude, like this morning. If I go up there and ask a question, nothing but attitude. If they dont want their jobs, there are ways to handle it, but its not anyone elses problem and we, as consumers shouldnt be treated like weve done something wrong by patronizing the post office. Its ridiculous how poorly trained they are when it comes to dealing with customers. Trust, when I go to UPS, I generally get way better service. If it were possible for me to have a UPS box there, that is SURELY where Id take my business. They at least pretend to care and try.

They are horrible, I will get my mail delivered else where so it will NOT have to go through Ridgelands USPS. Every time my package gets to them, its always something. This time they have delivered my package to the wrong address. And when I called, no one answered the phone. And when I spoke with the people in charge, they did the bare minimum to see where my package was. And didnt look any bit of conscerned like it wasnt their fault. You had one Job!!! No one has time for their packages or mail to be misplaced. They absolutely Suck.
