There are several restroom choices on this exit heading in/out of Mississippi but the appeal of this welcome center drew me in. It was a packed parking lot and inside people were milling about enjoying photos and even fresh coffee. It is a true welcome center and the views from he back patio are something to take in. Maybe the restroom could have been a little cleaner, but with so much traffic, I am sure this is a pretty tough feat. Definitely stop here and there is a waffle House across the way, in case you want real breakfast.

The bathrooms are kept in really good shape and are cleaned frequently. Because of the volume of folks coming through it is hard to keep it perfectly clean, but I travel through her 5-6 times a year and always know that the bathroom will be in good condition. The "dog trail" could be improved. It is essentially a 5 sq ft patch of sand with a fire hydrant.

Caution: Mississippi is not welcoming to gays and lesbians. Mississippi has passed pro-Christian laws allowing any business from restaurants, hotels or hospitals to refuse you service. Please be careful traveling through Mississippi as you are considered a second class citizen in Mississippi, if you are gay or lesbian.

nice stopping place, great view of the river, easy on off I 20 and good parking even with a travel trailer. Security present 24-7 in guard shack in the parking lot. They have had fresh coffee every time Ive stopped - about 6 times so far during trips across country.

Good info about Vicksburg National military park and overlooking the Mississippi river. Has cool old cannons but some are on the river side of the building and cant be seen up close with fence and trees (meant to be seen from bridge going over the Mississippi).

Place is nice. Dont pull in with a trailor at all. No parking whatsoever. Very little parking for cars. If going west bound wait till you cross the bridge and use Louisiana welcome center. Much better parking.

Peaceful and quiet (at 12 am) and a fascinating place of American history. Lights are gorgeous reflecting off the river and the flag on the bridge snapping in the wind. Clean and well stocked restrooms

Perfect location, by the Mississippi River and the two bridges over it - one highway and one railroad. Waited a bit to capture a train, but no luck.. nice inside as well.

Exceptionally clean restrooms, yeah its wheelchair accessible too and they have a free Wi-Fi hotspot which is nice if youre displaced by one of the hurricanes of 2017.
