Charged for work that was not done and then blamed my previous work for issues that remained. I came in for an alignment and after it was "done" I could not turn all the way to the left making the vehicle dangerous when it needed to turn left quickly. The vehicle was taken to another shop that gave me before and after numbers that proved Midas charged me for an alignment they did not do. The alignment actually being done remedied all issues. I also wanted my exhaust welded back together and was told it was in a bad place they couldnt get to and I needed to spend well over $1,000 to replace the entire exhaust. Luckily I know better and had a friend weld it who was able to do it without much more than a minor struggle because of where it was. If I was the average consumer that did not know better and had not had mechanic experience, I would be out well over $1000, my car would be dangerous to drive with the steering so off center and my brand new tires would be getting ruined by how far out of alignment Midas left it. It was so far out that in order to even get a before spec on the alignment they had to toe in the alignment because it was so off the machine would not even read. I have proof it wasnt done so hopefully they do the right thing and refund my money for the alignment that was not done. They tried to just straighten the steering wheel and not do the rest of the alignment hoping I would not notice. VERY DIRTY BUSINESS PRACTICE!

Ive been to different Midas locations over the years. The first time was in 1972 when I moved from St. Louis to Ft. Lauderdale. I had a MGB at the time, and during the drive down a rattle under the floor board started. When I arrived in Ft. Lauderdale I went to the MG dealer and was told I needed a new muffler system. I went down the street to Midas and they nixed that diagnosis and simply tightened a loose connection - for free. As far as the Arnold location, I have always found them to be honest and helpful when I have had a problem or question. They have never tried to talk me into work I didnt need. I knew one of the rotors was warped when I took it in not long ago. The options were explained to me, and it was my decision - since the car had over 60,000 miles on it - to replace the brakes and the rotors. The cost was very reasonable. Another time, I could tell the battery was becoming weak; when I took it in for an oil change it was confirmed that it should be replaced "soon". I had it replaced that day, but there was no pressure to do so. My son drove in from Denver last month. He has a 2015 Dodge Ram. We dropped it off for an oil change and tire rotation. My son told them to go ahead and do a realignment if it was needed. He got a call a few hours later saying it was not needed.

My car was sent to Midas from a local auto body shop for exhaust work and an alignment after repairs were done from an accident. When the auto body shop picked up my car, Midas failed to give them a copy of the alignment report due to a broken printer and said they would be able to send the report via email. After a week, and numerous phone calls to Midas, I still had not received an email with the alignment report and decided to drive up to Midas and ask for the report in person. Once there, they gave me different excuses as to why they couldnt send it through email and handed me a "report" that looked as if it had come from Google images. The report clearly didnt have any information as to what type of car the alignment was for and the image was so distorted that the numbers were barely visible. It also made no mention of Midas anywhere on the paper, so now I am forced to believe they took insurance money and did not perform an alignment. I do NOT recommend going to this place for any services.

Terrible place! Their service is horrible, i take my car in to get it inspected, they pass my inspection then when i start driving home my whole radiator explodes, i went back up there to confront them about what they did and they said that it was broken already so i ask them how could you pass a car with a radiator thats completly cracked and they had no answer so i talk to the district manager and he starts off by being super rude and calling me a idiot for not knowing that, that years model always does that ? Witch makes no sense! He then tells me that it broke when i was driving. They wont own up to there problems that they do. They lie. They are based off commision and thats why they break your stuff. This place is filthy, the district manager is a prick that dosent know anything about cars, he does know how to cover up a store and lie tho. I will never take my car here again. I hope that no one takes their car here.

We have been going to Midas for years and have always been happy with our service whether oil change, brakes, tires or whatever. Recently took my car in anticipation of a road trip and had a list of things to fix. ie shimmy in the wheel at high speeds, shaking in steering column when braking and air conditioner not cold. They were able to fix all the issues to our satisfaction, and only charged us for what was needed. Added coupons and savings to help minimize cost. Suggested future repairs as requested by Honda, but also told us that these things still looked fine and it was our call. I can say that we are completely satisfied with our service, and their friendly and efficient approach to helping us. ( Ask for Scott) He has always reassured us if they fix something and it is not right, they will make it right and never recharge.

I needed my brake pads replaced. When they told me how much it was going to cost it was around 600 dollars. The reason it was so much is because they added a great deal of scope to my initial request. Refinishing the rotor, re-aligning the caliper, flushing the break fluid.... After continuing to discuss that all I wanted were pads the number went form 600 to 400 to 200 finally they said they could do just the pads for 100. By that time I told them to pull my car off the rack. I dont know a lot about cars, but I know enough to know that changing out break pads should not cost 600 dollars... I called my trusted mechanic and he confirmed my suspension that they were trying pull one over on me. He replaced my pads and my car is running great.

Gotta tell ya. These guys are honest, and simply put amazing. I have an 05 Grand Caravan, it has a ton of miles. They have serviced it for several years. Never do they try and over sell the repair. I have recently taken the same above mentioned van in to them cause my wife saw a puddle of anti-freeze under the van, I am thinking the worst. But he calls and says, no worries, just a loose clamp. He said they would top off the fluid and the bill is 50 buck!! Man, I know that anyone else, 150 just to look at it. I work at a dodge dealer, and choose to go to the Midas in Arnold on Jeffco Blvd. I give them 5 stars. Thanks guys!!!
