I just had the worst experience ever at this place and I pray that know one else goes through what happened to me. I had my vehicle towed to this facility due to the fact that my car was not running. I told the mechanic that I would pay for a diagnostic to see what the exact cause is for my car not running. To make a long story short the mechanic told me that it was my mass air flow sensor and they would replace it for $600 including shop fees and labor (which I later found out was too much)When the work was complete I picked my car up the next day and was having the same problem with my car not driving. They then told me after doing another diagnostic that it was my o2 censor that was out and would be another $209.00. I also had never had any thing wrong with my flex pipe until after my car went to this shop. So now I have a loud noise my car is making due to the flex pipe which their mechanic broke and also now after already paying for an diagnostic Im being charged again for service that I was guaranteed. Their customer service is horrible. I had to constantly call up there to get an update on my vehicle because the mechanic would never call me back. The lady that worked at the front desk belittled me and called me "girl." Which is a very offensive term to call a black woman. It was an horror dealing with these people. I was quoted $180 initially over the phone by a Keith who claimed to be the manager. And Berry said he was the manager and it would be $209. These people are racist, and extremely unprofessional. I will be contacting the better business bureau, the attorney general, Im even writing a letter to the mayor of Bridgeton. I was never talked to like that, and I hope that I get justice for the way I was treated.

Please drive the extra 5 minutes to the Overland store you wont regret it. I walked into this CarX at 5:25 today. The attendent looked gloom and had his head resting on his arm which was on the counter. He did not lift his head to acknowledge me and waited for me to say hi to say hi back. I then asked for an oil change and he stated that the earliest he could do it was tomorrow. there was no one else waiting so I just said "really?" and he said were leaving in about 20 minutes. It was only 5:25 and the door said they were open until 6. I called back to get the name of the attendant as he did not introduce himself and he said it was Kenny. I have had fabulous experiences at the CarX in Overland Mo. Kevin the manager opens the door for his customers and greets them with a smile. The first time I went there I was not aware they closed at 6 and it was right around 6. When I saw the time they closed he was already greeting us and I told him not to worry since they were closing. He insisted that I tell him what we needed and insisted that it was no problem to do the oil change that day. We have since been back and the service from Kevin and the employees there is always above and beyond. They are extremely courteous and informative. I could not believe the night and day difference at the Bridgeton store. Even if Kevin is not in the Overland store his employees never act negatively. His excuse was that they were leaving in 20 minutes... It shouldnt even take them 20 minutes to do an oil change not to mention it was 35 minutes until the closing time as posted on the door.

I just had to have an oil change and a tune up done on my car and John provided top notch service. Thanks again for answering all of my questions and for being such a great mechanic. You rock! The guys at this shop are very nice and professional. They always answer all of your questions. I first took my car there last year for a safety inspection and emissions test and have been going back every since. Ive had al alternator belt tightened, front struts replaced, brake suspension rods replaced and rear brakes replaced so far. I have an older car and care about the quality of work being done to my car. I feel completely confident bringing in my car for repair. You guys have a customer for life and kudos to Tom for the great work that you have done on my car so far. I would recommend this shop to anyone that I know. :) I recently had an issue with my car and took it to Car-X Tire and Auto about an hour before they were due to close. My car was spitting and sputtering and I was at my wits end. Josh quickly diagnosed and fixed my problem. These guys are still #1 in my book. Thanks again for always being there for me. Just took my car in for an oil change and the guys provided great service. Thanks. Took my car in and had a new radiator installed, oil change and three major gaskets replaced. These guys did a top notch job. I love going to a place that I know is reliable and cares about doing the best service possible on my car. Took my car in for an oil change and 2 new tires. As usual I received top notch service. Thanks!

7/22/16 Very very disappointed with the quality of the work I received, had both my catalytic converters replaced on my work van ($790), had to go back (three times) because of a leak in the weld. They tried to say it was because of the old weld before them, hello you cut out the old and went back with new, I didnt go in there with a leak I just had bad converters. The time they tell you it will take and the actual time it gets done is so far apart they need a lesson in time management, they could careless about your time the (customer). Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere if your time and money mean anything to you. 7/22/16 The day I had them installed had to come back after I left due to a leak. 7/23/16 Went back to get leak fixed for a second time. 7/25/15 Went back to get leak fixed for a third time. They open at 7:30 didnt show up till 7:35, didnt get me in till 7:55 after the manager Bradley told me Ill get you in first thing Monday when I called Saturday.

If you are looking for good customer service, dont stop here. My warning indicator light was on, stating that I needed to check my coolant levels. I stopped at the CarX on St Charles Rock Rd 1/2 hour before they normally close. I went inside the lobby and noticed that the mechanics were in the shop, just chit-chatting. One of the finally noticed me, came inside and I explained my situation. I only wanted them to check the coolant levels - it would have taken only a couple of minutes. They said they were too busy and I would have to leave my car overnight. As I was unable to do that, I left...noticing that they went back to their conversation. If they really cared about providing good customer service, they would have taken the time to help me. I hope their Mothers/Wifes/Sisters are treated better than I was when THEY need help. I also got the same response at the Dorsett location. I will not use CarX again!
