I went to this location Sunday cause the check engine light was on, and a guy there told me he can not do any service and asked me come next day. He said I just need to walk in anytime , no need to make an appointment at all. Then I came there Monday afternoon, but the other guy said the schedule was so full that the most recent time available would be Wednesday or Thursday, and itll take about two hours to finish the maintenance, then I made an appointment Wednesday morning. Wednesday morning my husband drove there, and the first guy assisted that we dont have appointment. After I called to argue with that, the guy told us to drive there and hed do the service right away. Surprisingly, when we got there, the two guys insisted that my appointment is Tuesday morning and I didnt show up, and we have to leave our car there all day long that they can only take care of it "when they have time." Their attitudes are so arrogant like this is all my fault. I decide to go other place to do the maintenance, and emailed to the customer service to complain that. Amazingly, the system auto-replied that the customer service guy is currently our-of-office and wouldnt be back until two weeks later. I called the toll-free number to complain, and the receptionist didnt apology for their poor service, and asked to talk to the store manager. I said I dont want to talk to anyone at that store and I dont even want any store credits or other things cause Ill never never go back again. The customer service guy asked me what I want them to do eventually...What kind of customer service is that?

I would steer clear of these sharks lest you find yourself taken advantage of.. I came for an oil change and an alignment, I left with a dead battery and their service "!professionals" warning me that I may be stranded because it wont hold a charge.. My guess is they purposefully ran my battery dead. I had to jump start it once I came to pick it up.. They graciously gave me a jump though, after dire warnings of it dieing on me later on. Ironically I paid for the tire rotation/ battery check/ multi point inspection.. The report simply said "unserviceable battery", no actual numbers, no "levels". Of course an hour after running, the battery is back to normal. I scratched my head for a while when they called and tried to con me into a new 160$ battery, claiming that it wouldnt start at all. Ive had cars that the battery went bad on, and they usually become symptomatic before they fail. Mine had never had an issue before taking it there. It is a 4 year old battery. I have no doubt its service life is probably close to ending. But please guys, dont piss on me to try to sell me an umbrella. I gambled that the battery was fine, and after an hour of driving around it was back to normal and charged. I cant imagine letting anyone I care about go there. If you have too much money or want to hear about unicorns in your exhaust, stop by here. I did have out of state plates though, so maybe they thought Id be desperate or stupid.

My wife and I have purchased multiple sets of tires, had at least a few years of oil changes and had multiple repairs done here. This all stops on 02/05/2010. Here is why.... Day 1:My wife goes in for a routine break check. Nothing feels wrong with the car, but she thinks she hears or feels something. Firestone takes a look at they let us know that we need a break job ($850.00). This seems odd to me and I call my father in law who has done some work on the car. He asks my wife to cover the list with him and he realizes this is a total scam. The break work isnt even outlined correctly. Once he points this out to the manager on duty, we get a new estimate ($1,100). By this time, something seems more than fishy. I ask my wife to get Firestone to pull her car out and come home. They tell us they have broken the bearings, but they can piece them back together. Day 2: We take my wifes car to Bennetts Service Station in House Springs (a friend of my wifes father). They conduct a test drive and put the car up and check it out. They let us know that the pads look almost new and we are far from needing a break job. I understand that a business needs to make money, but a $1,000 for a service that is totally unnecessary...shame on you. Thanks Firestone...you just lost thousands of dollars in future business, more in referrals and we are pondering more reviews.

Why is it that every time I bring my car here for a routine oil change or inspection, I end up receiving a bill for $300 or $500? A google search is all you need to see that parts are overpriced. But I think the worst part is when you are quoted a price, you decide to think it over or talk to someone else because the price seems high, and then…all of a sudden…. they magically have a "coupon" or a "discount" to drive down the price. How convenient. I think the honest way to do business would be to start off with your bottom line price instead of trying to weasel more money out of your customers. Im done taking my car here and I would advise everyone else to do the same. Certainly going to try and go to Woodards across the street if I have to do it in the area.

I have been going to this location for 10 years. However, recently there has been poor management and customer relationship and price gouging of customers. Especially innocent or people who may not have much experience in dealing with car servicing etc such as students who are new car owners. For a economy vehicle such as Honda Fit they would ask for a price of $80 and say this is similar to what the dealer will charge as it requires special synthetic oil. I checked with the Honda dealer and the price was $39.99. While I like to support local businesses but this Firestone location needs to change their business tactics fast and be like they used to be otherwise they will lose a lot of loyal customers. Be careful on what you are quoted by them.

Staff was very friendly. Whoever called me back after I left my loose flat with them made a mistake in my quote (miscommunication, dishonesty, whatever the reason I was told 99.62 for the cost of tire and labor, my bill came close to 200 dollars). When I explained to the man checking me out (older gentleman, perhaps the manager) he apologized and said he felt bad and that sometimes his guys talk to fast and things get miscommunication. He then, to my surprise knocked 90 dollars off of my bill! With labor included I ended up paying less than the price of the tire. Shows that this store really cares about customer service and making things right. I will be going back to this Firestone for all my services from now on.

I have had my car (a 2005 Camry v6) in for service several times in the past year. All service was preventative care or for service associated with normal wear. The service included tire replacement (including balance and alignment), transmission service including flush and fluid replacement, cooling system flush and coolant replacement. The personnel at this store were helpful and on at least one occasion saved me from ordering an unneeded service. They have helped me plan service that will be needed in the future. Auto service is expensive but I believe the prices have been fair (dont forget to check the Internet for coupons). Im afraid I cannot, however recommend the coffee - stop at the Starbucks on the way in!
