Worst kind of people! I avoid this place like the plague and I suggest everyone else do the same. The mechanics and reps here are just outright rude. When you ask them simple questions so that you can better understand the condition of the car, what needs to be repaired along with the why and how, the responses are all the same full of atitude and the worst thing that I dont tolerate is when someone speaks down to me when I simply ask about tire replacement for a friend of mines car and was to suggest business to them since they are right within the area and lets just say they lost my business forever as well as anyone else who I know that has ever need any type of work done on their car. One of the reps just literally asked me if I was "stupid" because I wanted to make sure that the $2,000 repair work that was needed on my car was something that was appropriate based on the type of work required, let alone the fact that they like to ignore their customers and misplace their property...i.e. keys and fobs, I simply said forget it, took my car right down the street, got quoted for less than half the price, and the repair work was for more expeditious and also done properly so that I wouldnt have to be worried about it again. So Dobbs can trust that they have lost my business as well as the business of any of my associates.

Im very pleased with my experience here, and Im a pretty picky customer. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because they dont give everyone a discounted rate, so it seems like the prices are probably a little high and then they give you a "deal" to make it more comparable. Cant say I blame them but I dont like to haggle personally. I heard more customers than just myself getting "discounts". Id prefer one set price every time. But besides that, they seem very honest, smart, and they did a great job. Joe, the guy at the front desk, was WONDERFUL. Corey, the store manager, was a bit too "salesy" for me but was still kind. I got 4 new tires here, 4 new shocks & struts. They fixed the noise my car was making and I got my inspections done here. Ill definitely be coming back, thank you!

Our car had something hanging from beneath the engine. I suspected an access plate or cover. The wife asked the Dobbs staff to reattach or secure this hanging item properly and change the oil. When picking up the car our inquiries about the item hanging loose beneath the engine were met with "what, we didnt see anything" or "your not getting a new one for free". My effort to effect a solution with their main office has so far been unsatisfactory. This location changed the oil the last time so the missing plate which they admit is missing must have been attached loosely or poorly the last time. Beware.

This place definitely did its best to screw me over financially. I did a safety and emissions inspection here (big mistake) only because it was open on a Saturday. They wanted to replace the ENTIRE exhaust system for a flex pipe leak. Took it to Danmarks Tire and Auto in Florissant and they priced me for $900 less than Dobbs. Lesson learned. Danmarks is definitely worth traveling to Florissant.

Yes I checked "recommend appointment" but I dont think it really matters. As usual with this place, they take forever. Im here now, its 11:55 and I had an appointment at 10:00. AND its still not ready! All I came in for was to have one tire replaced. Ive finally had it with them. Not coming back.
