If I could rate a "0" I would. Stylist quickly started trimming my four year old little boys hair with the metal electric trimmer (the larger one made for hair—not the one that you use on your neck). He started to flinch.. I told him to hold still so that his haircut would look good a few times (He was born with a full head of hair and normally sits very still--we have never had an issue in past). He responded, “Mommy, it is hurting.” At that moment, I realized that she was cutting him as she moved the trimmer across his head. He has a long scratch on his neck, two cuts on his scalp, and a deep cut on the back of his ear that is still bleeding six hours later. I asked the stylist to stop in the middle of his haircut. Once again, I am a fair person and accidents happen—but it was how she responded that made matters so much worse. She seemed very offended that I didn’t let her finish his hair and kept saying that it was basically his fault because “he wouldn’t hold still.” I replied, “he is four years old and you have been cutting him this whole time…we are leaving.” She continued to say that he wouldn’t hold still. There was no apology; she just kept blaming my little boy. That was about all that I could personally handle. I asked for the manager’s name and the stylist who cut our boys’ hair responded, “why, so you can get me in trouble?” Seriously? Is that how you respond when someone asks that question? NO—I was asking for the manager’s name so that I could make sure that he or she was aware of the kind of service we were receiving. Then, the other stylist cut in and said, “you are not going to get in trouble—I am your witness.” Again, seriously? Witness to what? The way that you all treat your loyal customers or how my child was bleeding profusely from his ear and you didn’t even apologize?! We have been to several of the Great Clips around the St. Louis Metropolitan area. He does phenomenal getting his hair trimmed as we take him about every two months...this time we had to go to another local salon to fix the mess that that they created. Again, it was an accident but how both of your stylists responded was completely inappropriate. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN---HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

I was in to get my hair trimmed a little while back. My hair stylist, Josie, seemed nice enough at first. She knicked my ear, and I politely asked for a tissue to wipe the blood with. She scoffed at me and handed me a piece of tissue paper. She didnt speak at all after that, except to ask if I was pleased with the cut. When I asked if she could take it a little shorter she rolled her eyes. I told her if it was too much trouble it looked fine the way it is but she said "sure, until you come back and complain just to get a free haircut". Shocked and humiliated, I sat as she roughly finished my cut. I couldnt believe she had even suggested that because I am never the type of person to complain. It seemed like she was intentionally trying to get a rise out of me or start an argument with me. I still tipped, as I always do, although I was VERY DISPLEASED with her customer service skills. After I paid and turned around to walk out, a customer waiting for her turn stopped me after noticing the way Josie acted and the tantrum she threw. She explained that Josie acted the same way to her the last time and now she just hopes she didnt have to deal with her again. The disrespect and attitude I got from her was unfathomable! When, and IF, I go to Eureka great clips for another cut I WILL NOT LET JOSIE CUT MY HAIR!

I reside in Osage Beach Mo. And recently stopped into your Eureka Mo. Store for a hair cut . I was greeted immediately by very eager professional in which she took me back to station and began cutting my hair, I have very fine hair and stylist paid great attention when I explained I do not want much cut and definitely dont want any razor, due to frizz. If Im ever in need of haircut while in town I would not hesitate to visit the store. Thank you Lora for listening and providing me with an awesome haircut !!!!!!

Did not look like they wanted to be there. First time there terrible first impression. Did not explain there online appointment. I was 2nd to get a hair cut then 3 regulars walk in and I become 5th in line to get a hair cut. Would of made more sense to cut mine first since they were brothers. Will not be going here agian. I normally do not post but this was irritating.
