These people are so rude and unprofessional. They broke my $60 phone that they charged me $25 to put a new screen on when I bought the screen on my own and brought it in in the first place. After they put the new screen on the phone would overheat so bad that it felt like it would catch on fire in your hand. They refunded the $25 but then I was stuck with a $60 phone that didnt work and they were too lazy to even look into why. The next night I had to go out and buy another phone to replace what they messed up. The girl thats always behind the counter cant even answer a single question about the business. She obviously doesnt know anything about it and shes extremely rude. They bribed my boyfriend to fix an Xbox disk drive just so I would take down my last review explaining why its such a bad business. I decided to give them one more chance but this last time going in there they once again provided horrible customer service. The owner even asked my boyfriend to go outside to fight. He claims to have fixed a $60 Xbox (when I got home I looked up how much an Xbox 360 disk drive cost and its only around $20, so he didnt fix a "$60" problem) but he must not remember breaking a $60 phone of ours the previous week. Hes also switched out certain parts of the new phone and put in parts from the old phone so he could keep the new ones for his business. Then his wife told me I was lucky I was pregnant or she would hit me. I work in customer service and this is definitely not ok. I will definitely be reporting this business to the better business bureau and finding a new electronic repair shop that has better customer service.

I dropped my phone on a Sunday when most places happened to be closed. I found C&C Repair on Google. They were one of only a few places that happened to be open. My Samsung Galaxy S6 active (inside an otter box defender case) didnt pass the, fall from a vanity sink, test! With the military rating protection it claims AND the best otterbox case...... phone didnt hold up to its hype. Although nothing looked wrong with it when I picked it up, it was broken. It slowly developed a faint (at first) purple smudge looking spot on the edge of the screen. Figuring if that was all that was wrong with it, and my touch screen still worked, I would be OK with it. NOPE! As time ticked by, the faint purple smudged spread like a virus over the screen. Even got so dark I could no longer see the screen in places. The LCD was broken!! I had to google places for repair. C & C repair had the best reviews. (Almost a perfect 5 star rating!!) I figured I would drop off my phone and go purchase a prepaid to use until my S6 got fixed. To my surprise, they provided a loaner phone for me to use in the mean time! I am impressed! They were cheaper than most of the few that were open AND they saved me from having to purchase a spare phone! They have Friendly employees and made me very happy! I will be sending anyone that needs repairs, or wants to buy a phone their way.

UPDATE: It appears that everyone that has a negative review coincidently has the wrong location. This indeed happened at the location next to the old club fitness. The owner called asking to replace my phone if I removed the review! Unacceptable customer service! Phone crashed I was told a new mother board was $89 told them dont proceed but after taking an extra 3 mins I said actually go ahead and go along with it. The guy says "but you just said dont do it" as if I couldnt change my mind, who questions additional business? As at&t as my service provider I saw I had a VERIZON motherboard and Nick then explains he doesnt have at&t parts...so why would you just put anything in the phone? Needless to say I couldnt make phone calls. He then questions if I paid my bill as if he just didnt put the wrong motherboard in my phone. Not only that I truly cant support this place after I saw the way a special needs customer walked in and was treated. Extremely cold and rude. I asked for a refund the older guy then snatches the invoice for the refund amount... I preferred to buy a new phone (elsewhere) rather than spend another minute with this unprofessionalism. Lastly, they talk about previous customers in line as soon as they leave, right in front of the next customer.

So, I would give these guys no stars except they had really good customer service. The lady that I spoke to was very nice and helpful. However, I took my computer in a couple months ago because of a battery issue. When I got there at their posted opening time, nobody was there. I went to get breakfast, had time to eat and came back and nobody was there! I didnt want to drive anymore so I waited until someone arrived 30 minutes later (literally). I dropped off the computer and asked several times for them to not put in an off brand battery and they promised that they wouldnt. I got the computer back on time, but the back wasnt even clasped on all the way, but I gave the benefit of the doubt. This week the battery just went out again so I went to buy a new computer, but needed the data. The other store opened the laptop and commented on how terribly the machine was put back together and they had never even seen that kind of battery before. (Off brand). I dont know if they rushed to put it back together, but they strait up lied about putting in an off brand battery and the one they put in only lasted a few months. Come on! I will not be using their services again.

Truly the best when it comes to customer service. Owner understands the importance of treating every customer that walks in his store with decency, respect, honesty, fairness and most of all care. And the care trickles down to every single person he employs to uphold the same standards. Running a business in sales takes skill in knowledge but it also takes something that is unteachable, carrying out the Golden Rule and these guys do this day in and day out, treating everyone like they themselves would like to be treated. I am fortunate to live close by C&C Repair however even if I lived hours away, I still wouldnt go anywhere else for my service needs. I make it a point to let everyone I know to go to C&C for all of their cell/computer repair or buying needs. Regardless of what the need is, if they can service you, their prices will far and away beat any competitor out there. I stamp my word on it!

I have an I-Phone 3G and had it in my backpack while mountain biking when a rainstorm hit. My phone was in a water proof zipper pocket but somehow still got wet. I dried it out and after a 1.5 days it started to work. It worked for about 3 weeks but slowly got worse with being able to take a charge and rebooting sometimes and getting temperature warnings. eventually it would not stay on so I decided to take it to the Skokie shop. They took my phone in right away and for $100 did a scrub on all the corrosion in the phone and it is working great after about 2 hours. These guys saved me from having to buy a new I-Phone at retail prices.
