I had a bad experience with BigG. I had new tires installed and the tire shop said I had worn rod ends. I went to BigG and told them what the tire shop had said and also told them I needed an alignment. They diagnosed four worn ball joints, so I had BigG replace them. 2000 miles later, I started getting tire noise and noticed that about 1/2 or more of the tread was worn off the outside edge of both front tires. I reviewed the invoice from BigG and no alignment was listed. So I called and asked why they didnt do an alignment. The service rep stated that my service order didnt request an alignment and that an alignment wasnt necessary after replacing ball joints. That may be true on some vehicles, but on my 2002 Dodge Dakota, the ball joints are bolted on, not press fit like most vehicles. Per the Dakota service manual, ball joints are not replaceable items, the manual states that the entire upper and lower control arms must be replaced. The service rep even stated he had worked for many years at a Dodge service center and they never did alignments after replacing ball joints. At the end of the call he said it sounded like I needed an alignment, which they could do! These guys wouldnt take responsibility for wearing out brand new tires. They didnt even bother to check the alignment after replacing the ball joints. When I took it to another shop to have it aligned, they said that the alignment was completely messed up. Initially I thought the service was good, but the screw up means I cant recommend this place for service.

Big G Auto Service is the absolute best place in the world to take your vehicle. They are very customer service oriented, will always sit down with you and explain what is going on, they will never ever try to sell you something you dont need, they dont over charge, and the prices never spike up. I always know how much routine maintenance such as oil changes will cost on my car. They dont charge to do a diagnostic and they go above and beyond to get you back on the road. They have many skilled mechanics and the owner is not only an amazing mechanic, but also an amazing person. I have been a loyal customer since I bought my car in 2008. I will never take my car anywhere else because I only trust Big G.

I drove in here once with a badly leaking radiator. I drove out about 2 hours later with a new radiator at a fair price. I have been back a couple of times for some minor work. They have good mechanics and the prices are fair. Their service is hard to beat.
