Firestone Manchester Rd I’ve been a customer of this Firestone store since 1992. During these 24 years I have owned/gone through about 16 vehicles including a 15 year period when I have 4 vehicles most with high mileage (over 100,000) so plenty to go wrong. I estimate that I must have purchased over 250 tires from here (16 vehicles x 4 tires x 4 sets of tires) My family and I have received outstanding friendly service from both the customer facing management and the shop mechanics. Including receiving great lessons in car maintenance for my then teenage daughters so that they are confident about maintaining their own cars and are not intimidated by car shop people. Surely a lesson on life! They have always been honest and candid with us about the condition of our vehicles even though sometimes I did not want to know. Their diagnosis were invariably correct. One of the main benefits of having a long-term relationship with this store is that if/when things go wrong – like a failed part (a rare event) they always have stepped up to the plate and put it right. Finally on the cost and value received for tires I can not over emphasize the wisdom of taking the Tire Warranty when purchasing new tires.. (same advice about getting the life time front end wheel alignment) over the years I have availed myself of this service (imagine how may damaged tires I have had over the years.. in fact just this year I have had 3 tires replaced through this program (obstacles from road repairs going on in west county) As to cost I would put Firestone labor costs at 50% or 66% of the cost for similar work done at the dealer. And they provide just as good service, I would say better, as you get to build up a relationship with a staff that is stable and knowledgeable about you and your vehicles. In conclusion if you drive older high miles vehicles these guys can be your own pit crew.. and keep you going.. they are great.

I went in with a tire that I knew was bad and out of round. Well call this tire #1. All I needed was for them to give me a printout from their road force balancing machine stating the tire was bad so that I could get the online retailer that I bought the tire from to replace it under warranty. I told them to go ahead and balance the other tires while they were at it. They told me the tire I knew was bad (tire #1) was actually fine and that one of the other tires was actually bad (tire #2). The other tires were fine, they said. It took them almost 4 hours to balance all of the tires when they originally said it would be about an hour or so. I left and immediately knew something was wrong. One of my tires (tire #1) bounced like a basketball at interstate speed. They broke the valve stem (and TPMS sensor) for tire #1 as well. I went back later and they rebalanced that tire and replaced the valve stem. At this point TPMS doesnt work and my tire balance is bad. To top it all off, I never got the printout stating the "bad" tire was bad. I go to another shop that has a road force balancing machine and he fixes me up in just over an hour. Turns out tire #1 is bad (as I told them it would be) and tire #3 is bad (which they said was fine). Tire #2 is fine (they told me it was bad), they just didnt balance it properly. The other shop charged less than half the cost that Firestone charged me and actually did the work properly. Im giving them a 1 for service instead of a 0 because they guys working up front tried to help me and were very apologetic. But bottom line, I didnt get what I originally asked for, I paid too much to get my other tires balanced improperly, and I got no satisfaction when attempting to get them to fix the situation. This place is very close to my house, but I wont go here again.

I will start by saying this location does perform repairs that are complete and the work is acceptable quality. I am a regular Firestone customer and have been for several years. However, after my last experience I will not return to this particular location. In the past at this location, I have been permitted to make a payment for services over the phone thereby allowing me to pick up my vehicle at my convenience even after the store has closed. Because of my work schedule, I usually cannot make it to pay for and pick up my vehicle during their regular store operating hours. This particular instance, the employee would not accept my payment over the phone, siting a vague reason about company policy (even though they havent had an issue in the past). I was then left with no choice but to leave my job early to go to the store to make a payment, costing me time that I honestly did not have to spare on a tight deadline, plus an extra trip to the store that I normally would not have had to make. The employee expressed zero concern about my time constraints or the inconvenience he was causing and made no effort to accommodate me, even though I have been a loyal customer for years. TLDR; once they complete the work and write the bill of service, they do not care about accommodating their customers.

Went in for front pads on my new truck since my dealer told me they were due the week prior. After they had it for 5 hours they called and said my rotors were ruined and needed to be replaced. They didnt know I just had it at the dealer and had been told my rotors were perfect. I called them out on bad business practices and picked my truck back up. The workers all looked like they had been caught. I escalated it up to the District Manager and he informed me it much have been an error on their measuring of the rotors.. Haha.. Arent you guys the professionals? My family has gone here since 2000. Never again, so sad after so many years of loyalty were are still bent over like the rest of the customers walking in their door... End of the day upper management didnt care and held no one responsible. Sounds like a bunch of typical two bit crooks running a car shop. DONT USE THESE CLOWNS.

I will not be returning to this location ever again. They tried to charge my fiance 900 dollars to fix two sensors, but when i go up there and say i will take it somewhere else they offer another option. Long story short they told me the car was fine after i spent over 200 dollars. When i pick the car up and drive 100 yards the car dies and check engine light comes. The manager Ryan was super disrespectful to my fiance and myself and wont even offer to fix the issue his co workers assured me was fixed. I will never give them my buisness again and you shouldnt either.

The guy that was taking care of the front counter was incompetent and rude. My car was finished and waiting for 15 minutes in the parking area and the mechanic who worked on it was deep into another car. I asked to get checked out and the clerk said " I cant do that until the mechanic gives me the ticket". The clerk told me how busy he was in an ugly manner when I said that he should ask for the ticket because of how long since finished. Customer care lessons didnt take with this individual
