I would give a 0 if I could. I in for a cut and color today. It was BY FAR the worst experience I have ever had at a salon. The salon was filthy. The "senior" sylist applied runny color to my ends with a squeeze bottle, which splattered on the cape, leaked through, and ruined the shirt I was wearing. I was then taken to the bowl to color my roots. The stylist applied the color on my crown and massaged it into my scalp. The fumes at the bowl were so overwhelming that I started choking. No color was applied to the back of my head. The stylist then tried to comb through the color at the bowl. This was not only painful, but splattered color all over my hairline. After all this, I decided I didnt trust the stylist enough to cut my hair. When I told the stylist I only wanted a color, he called me a "chicken." He failed to even get my hair completely dry. Finally, as I was leaving, he noticed my shirt had color on it. No apology. He just grabbed a bottle of hair spray, sprayed it on my shirt, and told me that should get it out. Unbelieveable. I will never return.

Im a hairstylist at a salon nearby this Beauty Brands location, but our esthetician was fully booked all day and I absolutely had to get my eyebrows waxed (it was New Years Eve). I was desperate. When I went in there, they acted like I was kind of a nuisance. The waxing service literally took 5 minutes. She didnt do any shaping, any tweezing. I could have done what she did. When I got home I had to spend 15 minutes tweezing all the obvious strays that she missed. She obviously just wanted to get out of work and go party. It was just pure laziness. Thank God for Kristine Kay, Henri Finnigan and Phyllis Sweeney at Shampagne...from now on Im sticking with the girls I work with!

My stylist was Ashlyn, and normally she does a great job and Im always happy with her work. I showed her the picture a week before hand and she proceeded to say it could be done, unfortunately it was no where near what I wanted. She offered to fix it for free, which I was happy about, but then took back that she was going to fix it for free. she was going to charge me AGAIN for fixing the mistake she did and trying to put the blame on me by sending me rude and unprofessional text messages threatening to send me a video of what happened that day. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this facility or being her client any longer.

What a bummer. Scheduled my 12 year old daughter for a hair cut and blow dry for $35. Checked her in & left to run over to Target. They called and said the services would be $55 because my daughter asked that it be straightened when she blew it dry. We both have thick hair & I know its possible to blow dry it straight - no need for a straight iron. Told them I wanted them to stick with the $35. Im sitting here watching them and it seems like the stylist is intentionally trying to make it poofy. Stay away from this salon. It is close to my house and was trying to avoid a trip to my salon downtown. Seriously what a ripoff.

Steven, thank you for making a chronically ill woman feel pretty again, you were great with me and have REAL TALENT. I will say that he had to clean up another "advanced master stylists" mess and unless I see Steven I will never go back there again because I saw Nikki 2 times and was disappointed and frustrated and also must say that it doesnt matter if it says theyre a Jedi Master Ninja Stylist, some people know how to listen and some dont. I love Bob! Just got my hair permed curly, and it is exactly what I was asking for! Perfect Permanent on my hair! I love their massage therapist! Ive had manicures, pedicures, brows shaped, up-dos, and you can find great deals on salon products! Its so close and convenient. The staff working there always seems happy. Which is very telling about any business!

The last wax I got at Beauty Brands was the absolute worst ever! I am not exaggerating one bit. I left w/half a right brow and a butchered left. I was very disappointed w/the overall service I received! The wax was bad, but the cut and color was even worse! Unfortunately, I will not be going back, ever!

I had a terrible experience here. I had an appointment to get a perm there. I had to keep bugging the "stylist" to do everything correctly from wrapping my hair to the rinse time. In the end, I wasted $90 and ended up with no curl to my hair whatsoever!! Do NOT go here to get a perm!!!

Contrary to previous reviews I love getting my eye brows done at beauty brands. Its quick but they really do a nice job of keeping my shape and it is perfect if you have a busy schedule. Its also nice because they will take you last minute, and it is relatively cheap

I went here and got a perm. It took 5 boxes of different products before it actually took. . and she ended up frying my hair. Took me a year to grow it out. Left my hair wet and it was cold outside . Absolutely worse place to get your hair done.

I paid $61 for a "Master Stylist" to do a simple cut. I came prepared with a picture and all. I walked out my hair was not only 3 inches shorter, but obviously uneven in length. Will never make that mistake again!

I got a facial and eyebrow wax which I am very happy with though I have had better. I really like my hair! Its fun how a trim and color can really lift ones spirits.
