I hated it, went there for a color, I wanted blonde but all they gave me was an orange color or worse, I cant even tell what color it is exactly. The hair stylist had red hair (D), during that time she told me the bleach was doing what its doing and theres nothing she could do to make it more blonde, but I know its not true since I have done blonde highlights before and it took me not more than 2 hours and half cheaper than what she charged me, and I sat there for almost 2 hours and all I got was the crappy and ugly color. Since I moved from another state I wanted to find a decent hair salon to go to, but Sams was a mistake. Also after I saw how bad my hair looked, she said if the color doesnt turn out right shes gonna apply a red over it so it doesnt matter if it was blonde or not, but I wanted a bleach blonde color...not red! So I asked her what if I want more blonde, she said I have to come back to bleach again, but shes still gonna charge me for the next time I come back, even though this time she didnt give me the color I wanted at all and messed up my hair, and she wants to charge me again, and she said I need to bleach a few more times to get the blonde I want. I had the first and worst experience in Sams, if they did a good job I wouldnt mind spending more money, but they did such a terrible job but charge me full price and planning on charging me again. I will never come back here again!

I received the worst hair cut in my life at the Fantastic Sams on Warren St. First I get there and the girl is complaining about coloring hair. Next it took 3 people and 40mins to figure out how they were going to color my hair. The color didnt turn out bad, but the hair cut was horrible. I had asked for a trim and got 5 inches cut off my hair, not to mention another girl working there even commented on how much she cut off! She handled my hair really bad, felt like she was pulling it out the whole time she was cutting it my eyes were watering and I just wanted to cry. When she was finished the cost was $30 more then I was told it would be on the phone. I got home and looked in the mirror, my hair in the front was much longer then the hair in the back and uneven. I ended up cutting it myself. This was my worst experience I have ever had getting my hair done! Especially when the girl told me she had been doing hair for 4 years. I would not recommend this place to anyone after my experience.

About a week ago I went in to get highlights, I know people who have gone here and their results were good. However mine were horrible. First of all I spoke to someone on the phone about prices and they quoted me "around $60" for a partial. What it actually cost was $90. I have dark brown hair and asked specifically for natural looking highlights, they even brought out a color pallet out for me to choose from. The lightest I chose was two shades lighter (ash brown) than my current color. It took a long time for them to finish the foil which probably contributes to the uneven color I got and then I was left under the dryer for a bit too long. Long story short I now have platinum blonde highlights. They used a toner which helped some but fades over time. I asked what my other options were and they told me that I could come back and have my hair dyed back to the natural color. Why would I pay more money to fix something that they messed up? I will never go back here.

I just got a hair cut from this place. I was in and out of the chair in 5 mintues. Told the lady I wanted to leave hair on the top to style and put stuff in, she pretty much made my head look like a box. I had straight across bangs, flat top, and when I got home, I tried to style it and I couldnt do absolutely anything to it. I ended up pulling out my clippers, and shaving my whole head to a number 2 which still looked better than that sorry excuse for a hair cut. The lady complained that she had done 10 hair cuts just in that morning and I could tell she wanted me in and out of there. Complete waste of money.

We have now been there three times trying to get my son in for a haircut. All three times we have been there, they tell us they are too busy to fit him in for at least two hours-despite having two girls there and no customers in sight. Today was one of those instances. My husband and son returned two hours later fur the haircut and were told they had "unforeseen problems"and it would be at least another two hours. Needless to say, we wont ever be going back. Clearly, this particular store is not interested in making money or retaining customers!

Complete joke.. Once again I walk in and notice 3 "stylists" with no other customers waiting stating that they would be too busy to get me in. This isnt the first time Ive been there and been turned away when in plain sight they was no one waiting for a haircut. Why advertise for walk-ins if you are not going to be able to accommodate. If I owned this place, Id be furious that paying customers were being turned away while my employees were chit chatting.

I always have a great experience at Fantastic Sams. Ciara is my hair dresser who I have been very happy with! She always makes me look my best when I leave! She cuts my hair exactly how I want it and does amazing color! I highly recommend going there!!

Desiree was my hair dresser tonight and she was excellent. Gave me great advice on my thin but curly hair and recommended different products that I absolutely love. Will definitely be going back to that fantastic sams.
