Awful customer service, Very disappointing. I had been going here for years and liked it, but I had a really bad experience recently. I had my hair highlighted, it didn’t turn out, and I had to have it re-done. My work schedule was crazy, so I had to reschedule for a few weeks out. When I came in for my appointment, I was informed, for the FIRST time, that re-dos had to be done within two weeks. As I was outside of this two week mark, I had to pay extra for an “application fee.” They said they tried to call me but had my wrong contact information, and I never received their call. Even though the salon said the error wasn’t my fault, they still made me pay the extra fee, since they didn’t think it was fair for them to not get paid for the hours they were working to correct THEIR OWN mistake. I’m disgusted by their lack of customer service and will take my business to a different salon that truly values its clients.

After two terrible haircuts in the last year and a half, I was scared to try a new salon...but I also really needed a haircut...so I decided to try Hair Salon in Westport. I am so glad I went! I had Hannah as my stylist and she did a great job cutting my hair and styling it so nicely. Even though I didnt get a fancy cut, I am so incredibly pleased with the result. Hannah was very personable and friendly. The salon itself is large and spacious, with big bright windows. I will absolutely be returning to this salon (although Im sad that Hannah will be moving in August)!

I am very picky about my hair, and I dont like to be pressured into "current hairstyles" or expensive treatments. I always feel welcome at Hair and never feel pressured to buy extra products or treatments. I have had blow-outs done by a few different hairdressers and loved them all. My favorite hairdresser is Jaime Kittinger. She has been cutting & coloring my hair for 4 years now & always does an AMAZING job. She makes my blonde look so natural most have no idea I get highlights. I highly recommend Jaime and Hair!

Hair Salon is a fantastic place to get your hairs cut. Beautiful vibe and amazing stylists, Ill never go anywhere else. Please go see Kayla Bachman, by far one of the most talented young stylists in Kansas City. Located in historic Westport there are plenty of good eats nearby such as Blanc Burgers & Bottles or McCoys or get some bubble tea at Tea Drops or coffee at Broadway Cafe. Also great shopping nearby, specifically at The Bunker. Seriously though, Kayla Bachman, you wont be disappointed.

This place is really nice. The woman at the front desk isnt that welcoming, but dont let that stop you. I got Brittany, and she did an amazing job! Comparatively, I dont think this place is that expensive. It was clean and the atmosphere was really nice. I liked it a lot. Im going to go back for my next haircut.

I called once and a very nice lady spoke with me about their services and openings. I told her I needed to check my schedule and call back. When I did, someone else picked up and she was incredibly rude. She corrected me harshly and made me feel like I was dumb. She seemed super snobby and unfriendly.

I just moved to kc and didnt have a hair salon. I looked a few up and this one seemed nice. It is in a nice area and the hair cut was a great price. My experience was GREAT! Emily did my hair. I have found a place I will definitely go back to!

I really love Kayla Bachman as well- she is really down to earth and I think she can really understand what I am envisioning which is so important. On the phone, the receptionist can seem a little snobby, but overall Ive enjoyed the salon!

I have been there about a dozen times over 5 years. Their master cutters are great but their junior cutters cant cut short hair well. They are far too over priced and you end up frustrated for weeks with the cut they gave you.

If you want your hair cut by a knowledgeable and professional staff, this is the place for you in Kansas City! I have never had a bad experience! Ask for Rob he is the best there!
