The management of this place sucks and I would not recommend anyone to get their wedding hair done or have their bridal party get their hair done here. When I called them, I told them that I wanted to make appointments for four my bridesmaids. Because I said my bridesmaids wanted to get their hair done, I had to pay a deposit on the cost of the four appointments I thought that it was a bit annoying that I had to pay a deposit just because I said it involved bridesmaids, but I was fine with it at that point. About a day or two before the wedding, two of my guests also wanted to get their hair done, so to be nice to my guests, I called the Salon and added them. The two guests that I made the appointments for decided not to go, so when I called the Salon to let them know that the two additions were not coming, they said that was fine and never said anything about a “four week cancellation” policy or that they would try to keep the deposit I paid After my four bridesmaids got their hair done, they tried to keep the deposit because of the two canceled appointments. My MOH tried to explain that the four hair appts that were originally made and upon which the deposit was calculated showed up, so there was no reason why they should keep the deposit. They kept saying that they had a four week cancellation policy and that they were keeping the deposit because of the two later made appointments. How can they have a four week cancellation policy on appointments that were made a day or two before the wedding and you don’t have four weeks to cancel? Also, when I made the extra appointments they did not say anything about the cancellation policy or it affecting the deposit. But the most disappointing thing was how unprofessional they were and how they really ruined the beginning of my wedding day. They told my MOH that they were going to call the police unless we forfeited our deposit. They also kept saying that the wedding party was “cheap” since they were trying to use a 20 percent off coupon, although the coupon did not apply to wedding hair. When we tried to explain to them that no one was getting “bridal hair” since I was getting my hair done elsewhere, they kept saying it didn’t matter and that they thought I was strange for getting my hair done elsewhere (which I am so happy I did). They also said that if we wrote a bad review they would “ write up our bridal party” My MOH called me when all this was going down, they were equally rude and unprofessional to me on the phone. It was my wedding day and the last thing I wanted to deal with was this kind of situation. It seems like there policies are geared towards taking people’s money instead of customer service. None of the other vendors I used, tried to charge extra or subject me to special policies just because it was a wedding. But more importantly, they are inflexible, dishonest, and wont really work with you . Keeping a 75 dollar deposit is more important to them than customer service There are other salons that you can go to who wont charge you more or make you pay a deposit just because you mention “bride” or “bridesmaid.” The salon that I did my hair at did not make me pay extra or or pay a deposit just because it involved a wedding and were very flexible about changes/cancellations. Unexpected things happen on a wedding day, and I think its always best to have vendors who are flexible and make things easier, not harder. Dont go to the Salon unless you want to pay more just because its a wedding and have bad customer service. I would say if your a bride or have a bridal party wanting to get their hair done, avoid this place if you can, or at least dont make the same mistake I made and say its for a bride or a bridal party

I wish I could review the stylists and the management staff separately, because the stylists we tried out were pretty great, and would deserve at least 4 stars on their own. But due to the unprofessional nature of the management staff at this salon for which I would barely give 1 star, Ive given this place 2 stars overall. I was part of a bridal party for which three bridesmaids and the brides mother had "special occasion styling" appointments scheduled. We called ahead of time to ensure the deposit we had paid would go directly towards the cost of the mother of the bride and the maid of honor, as well as to make sure we could use the 25% 1st time customer coupon on their website. We were ensured that that would be absolutely fine, and yes, they would definitely accept the coupon, as well as ensure that the depsit would fully cover the 2 appointments we had specified. The day of the wedding, after getting our hair done (which turned out well), we gave the woman at the front desk the coupons. She said she was so sorry but hadnt realized they couldnt be used for bridal parties. We explained that we had specifically asked about this over the phone several weeks earlier to confirm this, and whether she would honor what the management had promised. She came back and, with an etremely annoyed attitude, said that fine, they would honor it. However, they refused to keep the $65 deposit that had been paid, because 2 guests which the bride had helpfully made appointments for other services (waxing and hair do) hadnt shown up. So they said that the deposit was voided since they had a 3 week cancelation policy. The bride had only made these two additional apointments within the last 2 days since the guests had come to town and asked for recommendations and help on getting these appointments. And the bride, being considerate for her guests, had called up The Salon to make these 2 extra appointments. After trying to reason with the manager (or owner) for nearly 20 minutes, being yelled at by them in The Salon in front of all their other customers, having them threaten to call the police, having them call up the bride (who was at a different Salon to get her hair done) to yell at her on the phone.... we finally paid more than we had bargained for and left the Salon in a horrible mood. The manager/owner at The Salon is obviously clueless when it comes to customer service and professionalism. I would strongly dissuade anyone from going here, especiallly for an important occasion.

The Salon is great! I recently moved here from Cali and was looking for a place I could trust to get my hair done. I did a lot of research and Im glad I ended up at The Salon. I hope this helps anyone that is searching for their new hairdresser. I work with Nicole and she is amazing! She is super sweet, and makes the two hours in the chair go so fast with the most easy going conversation. My normal routine is color and cut. With Nicoles direction, we are working toward a more ashy blonde than golden using three different colors to give it demension. She goes for a more natural look which is great but I always like to say im a true blonde ;) For my last cut, went with a Kristen Cavallari look. She showed me this great technique for getting a wave tousled look while blow drying- it was pretty cool. Now for the products.... I love them! Not only do they smell amazing but she knows what to use/recommend on my hair for my trouble spots and to make my hair feel healthy. At my last appointment she used and then recommended the Morrocan Oil shampoo and conditioner. Ive been using it for about two months and Im really liking it. Its really moisturizing- sometimes a little too much, but it also smells amazing. She also used the Morrocan Oil smoothing cream because my hair is so dry and adds this amazing Kevin Murphy shimmer shine which makes my hair so soft. I LOVE the shimmer shine spray. When I put this stuff in my hair I cant stop touching it all day! At this last appointment she recommended kerawhip which is a deep conditioning treatment for my dry ends. Again, Ive been using it for 2 months and its the best conditioner Ive ever used. It smells amazing and is perfect for my fine hair. Doesnt over moisturize, but leaves it soft and smooth. Im going for a color and cut refresh next weekend. Im so looking forward to relaxing in Nicoles chair. Im so happy I found The Salon! Check it out. The staff is knowledgeable, personable and knows everything about hair. I hope you enjoy it as much as i do!
