People there are nice, and quick with service. My experiance with U-haul was very poor. We rented a 26ft truck to move our stuff from Springfield to Columbia, Mo. I got the truck and notice immediately how poor condition the truck was in. Damage to every corner and side of the truck. driving down the road the truck was vibrating and rattling so bad my teeth were chattering. Got the truck home and noticed it was leaking powersteering fluid all over the driveway of my house which im trying to sell. Ive drove a penske truck from California back to Missouri and it rode great, it wasnt a Caddillac but for a big truck it rode awesome. This thing rode like shit. Major lack of power couldnt maintain 50mph up a small hill, steering was stiff likely from lack of powersteering fluid. Interior was littered with Peanut shells, old cigarettes, and lighters. Wind whistling through the doors going down the road. Wipers didnt work but once in a while, luckly it wasnt raining very hard. The floor in the back was dirty, had broken glass all over the place, along with grease on the walls all which i had to clean up before loading my stuff into the truck. When i unloaded my stuff i noticed some of it was damp. upon looking at my contract it was noted that there was a hole in the roof that i wasnt informed about. I spoke with the U haul i dropped the truck off at and they asked if U haul in springfield did a walk around with me. i said no, and he almost had a panic attack for my sake. They didnt inspect the truck or talk to me about any of the damages that where already present. I felt like i was driving a truck they pulled from a junkyard. Next time Ill spend a little extra and rent from a company that takes care of their trucks, and customers. Since U-Haul clearly doesnt give a damn. I highly advise anyone who needs a truck to go to Penske, little more expensive but you wont have to worry if the truck will make it or not.

I made an online reservation for a moving truck several days in advance, and when I arrived, the staff was friendly, the truck was ready and clean, and it would have been a simple matter to get in, get out with the keys, and get to work moving. However, beware, because reservations that are made online are not well honored. When I arrived in the evening to pick up my rental that was reserved for 24 hours, the store manager informed me that the rental would need to be returned in the morning, changing my 24-hour rental to 19 hours. He actually tried to justify this by explaining that the store intended to rent out the vehicle additional times within the 24-hour period that I had reserved. Other customers in the store began to argue on my behalf, and he proceeded to coerce me by threatening to charge me for an additional rental day if the rental was not returned by the adjusted earlier time. Additionally, the appliance dolly and furniture pads that I paid for online were not with the truck when I went to leave, so I had to go back and ask to get them. In the end, I returned the truck about 21 hours after pick-up, and was only charged the original rental fees. Ive told this story to a few others and two of them confirm that the same thing happened to themselves or someone they know. It would have been a pleasant experience if they hadnt tried to ruin my moving day by not honoring online reservations. But the almighty dollar is more important here.

Horrible experience! Staff AND owner are very rude and very unprofessional. After they hooked up the dolly we were trying to rent, they threatened to unhook it and not rent to us. Then the owner came over and told my husband "What, you arent man enough to look me in the eye?!" He said it in a very demeaning way and started moving his body like he wanted to fight my husband. Then he implied my husband was a liar when we said we have rented there before.... the owner said "Ive worked here 11 years and Ive never seen you." We rented 4 days ago from them, and the owner went to check the computer to try and catch us in a lie. He wasnt successful. ALL THIS BC MY HUSBAND DIDNT HAVE HIS ID ON HIM!! I cant wait to tell corporate what happened today and hopefully the owner will hand the video footage over to them. I wont be renting from them again.

I needed a trailer hitch for my vehicle. Someone told me to call a certain store (starts with U and ends with Haul.) Well I got a quote and it seemed really high. And then they told me it would take a week before they got the hitch. I ended up calling Pecks Trailer Hitches and they were able to do it that day. Plus they actually knew what they were doing - it took them less than half the time to install it than _____ (starts with U and ends with Haul) said it would take. AND it was $70 cheaper. #nobrainer

Excellent service! Highly recommend this location! Rented truck in another state and returned it to this location (by the way, truck performed significantly better than Penske truck a couple years ago). Accidentally left something of value in cab of truck and they made sure to return it. Ended up renting a storage unit from them, too. Had to make multiple trips to unlock storage unit during first week and they were nothing but nice about it.

Very disinterested poor service. Trailer very dirty. When asked to have it cleaned attendant stated it was too cold. Paperwork states you will be charged extra if trailer is returned dirty. When complained to assistant manager nothing was done. Attendant became rude. I have have had poor service at this location more than once. North Glenstone location is always polite and helpful.

I was very impressed with Courtney and his Manager today. They went out of their way to assisting me. I thought my visit would be a long and complicated ordeal. Their professionalism was only surpassed by the knowledge they both held within the moving and transportation industry. I would highly recommend doing business at this location!

We rented a trailer from this location. The guys were very friendly and helpful. We had a small problem with locating the one we were supposed to have...we waited maybe 20 mins but they threw n some furniture blankets at no charge which helped a lot!!! Also got some free boxes!! Not bad! Id recommend using this location. 5 stars.

Been buying boxes to prepare for move. Just needed 1 short wardrobe box. All they had was one "bundled for convenience" and an extra $1. I bought it and it was horrible. Who thought up this "convenient bundle"?. The box was so mangled it too forever to just get it ready to tape. What a scam!!!

Friendly staff. The uhaul I rented was super crappy. The oil gauge was messed up on it and it made weird noises which really freaked me out driving. It sounded like the engine or transmission. For the price paid for the uhaul I feel like the vehicle could have been in better condition.

After struggling with car rentals and other bureaucracies, it was sheer joy to experience this U-Haul rental office. The people were friendly, the transaction was short and smooth, and we were out of there with the comparable ease of moving with a nice truck!
