I have used these gentlemen twice now. I had a small move both times from apartment to storage and vice versa on the second trip. 1. They were on time. They said they would be there at 0900, they were there as needed. I had a lot less stress the second move due to knowing this. 2. Respectful. Not once did I hear a single curse word. Even after I explained I was not offended by language, I was addressed as Mr Schuler everytime until I begged them to call me by my first name. 3. Professional. Not only did they wrap the furniture items as they went to the truck, they were cautious and most of all FAST. They loaded their truck, made the trip to the destination and unloaded in just under two hours. After the second move, we discovered one picture that had broken glass, and they were very concerned. I was extremely impressed that they were so concerned over something so inconsequential, yet they were! It showed a great amount of class. 4. Pricing. Frankly, I did not price anyone else for my first move with them. I went on emotion. Best gamble I have ever made. Even if they are not cheaper, I would do business with them again in a heartbeat. I cannot express my gratitude enough not only for the hard work on my moves, but also their service for our country, I encourage anyone considering Rent-A-Vet to stop looking elsewhere and call them and set the appointment. You will not regret it one bit.

Im disappointed in the no-show no-call and not picking up the phone. This is not the level of professionalism I expected from Frank. The first time around (2014), most things went smoothly except the too generous usages of exclusively brand new out of our pockets large packing boxes regardless of the sizes of the items. I supposed their business just started, so they were nice to build good online reviews, which I went out of my way to write superb review for. Also, I suppose the move last time was in the thousands, so they were very willing. This time, we needed to move appliances from first floor to basement. Frank agreed to come with a price. It snowed the day we agreed, so we wanted him to be safe and postponed to the next day. Today is that next day. No show. I called but no answer. He put on his Bluetooth headset all the time no matter what he did throughput the whole move last time. There are multiple pictures with customers he wore that headset. Yep. I got the message. I wish youd pick up the phone like a gentleman would, and let me know you bailed. Its business I understand. So revoking my previous review with this one is also just as business.

Frank runs an awesome team. They were able to accommodate my moving request with about a weeks notice. They also arrived early at my request so we could avoid the Sunday church traffic across the street. I didnt have much to move (only filled about half of their full-sized truck), but they were quick and reliable. They even had tools on hand to help me disassemble and reassemble my bed! The original quote was well below the bigger movers, and the final price I paid was even lower than the quote! How often does that happen?? They did such a great job, though, that I added the difference between the quote and final price to their tip. The guys were so professional and courteous, and they exemplify their core values of integrity, excellence, and accountability. And I love supporting a veteran-owned and black-owned local business. I hope I dont have to move any time soon, but if I do, Ill be calling them! Thanks again, fellas!

Excellent, i had contacted them two days ago, and they were able to accommodate me and performed magnificently. They were respectful, clean, and very very efficient, they got done in two and a half hours what i hadnt gotten around to for a month. Went to two locations plus the final destination, essentially a triangle that spanned half the county, and were done and gone before three hours had expired. I am incredibly glad i went with them, they did an amazing job, and i know if i ever need anything moved in the future or know anyone who does, i will be sending Frank and his crew some business. I was apprehensive due to the seemingly low rate they offered, but they proved wrong. I would 100% recommend them to anyone out there, they are punctual, extremely efficient, and cheap, not mention how respectful they are to your belongings. If you need movers, call these guys, they were great!

I moved about 2 weeks ago, and was trying to find someone with just a few days to go. I checked Rent A Vet out with the BBB (great review) and gave them a call. They contacted me right away and said they could take my job. The two young men that came out were on time and ready to work. They took great care with my furniture, even with the things that were a little older and kid worn. Even though it rained, and we went two hours over our time, Rent A Vet was still less expensive than most of the other companies I had contacted for just the two hour rate. The service was exemplary, I give it the highest rating possible, and would recommend them to anyone that is moving, as a matter of fact I already have. If I ever move again I will call Rent A Vet first. They were the BEST OF THE BEST!!!!

I had a wonderful experience. Due to a fire situation in the condo building I resided in, I needed to move out on short notice. I called the company on a Friday asking for movers needed the following Wednesday. This company was able to accommodate with a large enough truck and 3 gentlemen. They arrived before there scheduled time and was completed with loading the truck, driving to the storage unit and unloading within 6 hours. They did an excellent job loading the storage unit taking into consideration the pieces and what was the best fit. The gentlemen were pleasant, professional and respectful. The items were covered and wrapped in place before being moved from my condo. I will be hiring them again when I move back.

I could not have been happier with Rent-A-Vet Movers! I have never used movers before and so I was a little nervous about what to expect. From the get-go, their communication was outstanding, friendly, and straightforward. The two guys (Andrew and Darren) arrived on time and could not have been friendlier, even during the afternoon of the hottest day of the week. They were quick, efficient, and took great care of my things. I seriously was so pleasantly surprised with how smoothly everything went! They kept to the quoted time schedule and price, which was awesome. I cannot recommend them enough, in fact, they will now be moving my roommate in later this week! I will never move again without this company. :)

I dont leave reviews for mediocre service. If Im going to leave one, it is only because the service is remarkable enough that I find it worth my time to do so. We all know what it is like to have to deal with movers who clearly couldnt care less about your belonging or showing up on time. Rent a Vet Movers is a refreshing break from the norm. They are very professional and reliable, and have an obvious focus on efficiency and professionalism. They arent afraid of hard work and wont take shortcuts that increase the chances of your items being broken. I would highly recommend Rent A Vet Movers to anyone for in the St. Charles area looking for movers who get the job done!
