I hired Mayflower moving company to get me from St. Louis to Los Angeles. Dodge was the local movers who showed up to pack up my stuff. The two men who showed up were probably the slowest human beings Ive ever seen... especially for two guys who do this for a living. I took the morning off work, not expecting to have to stay too long while the loaded my boxes and furniture. I was told the movers would show up anywhere from 8:00 am - 9:30 am. They showed up a little after 9:30 am, and I asked how long they think it would take. My move was small - 1 BR apartment sized. They told me "Maybe a couple hours?" 11:30 am comes around and nothing has yet been moved out of my apartment. The guy inventorying everything certainly took his sweet time in labeling everything. Around noon, I realized that the two men had disappeared for a good 20 minutes and I was getting concerned. I missed the entire morning of work and expected this to be over by now, but none of my stuff had been moved out yet. I went downstairs to the truck and saw that they had been taking periodic smoke breaks, and thats why theyd disappear for 20 minutes at a time. I let the guys know that I was in a rush and thought that theyd be done by now, and I had to get back to work. They did start moving their butts a little faster after that, and wrapped up around 2pm. They decided it would be best if they got everything out of my apartment into the lobby, let me sign the papers, and go to work while they loaded everything on to the truck. Having almost missed an entire day of work, I agreed and signed the papers. When I got back home that night, I realized they had forgotten multiple items. Two bikes that were left downstairs for them werent taken, and they left a lamp as well. The tardiness, slow moving, and carelessness really disappointed me. My experience with Allied moving company, who moved me to St. Louis just a year before, was phenomenal. The two guys that showed up packed everything for me (this time I pre-packed) and loaded my 2 BR only took 2 hours. Why did this experience take ALL day? And now Im left with some large items that Ill have to donate or throw out because the movers forgot to take them.

Worst customer service, luckily, I didnt pay for it. My company paid for me to move and unfortunately hired dodge moving. I have the number of the person responsible for my move, but it might as well be to their answering machine directly, because I have called and it always goes to voicemail. They went on vacation before the move and I tried to call to confirm the movers would be here on the day, it took me 30-45 minutes of calling for someone to walk over to their desk and check if they were coming(yes they use paper book-keeping in 2015). Anyway fast forward the stuff was packed up quickly and nicely, again its the customer service aspect of this. I asked for them to call me when they knew my things would be here, a week after they were packed up and 3 days straight of none of my calls returned I finally received an email "im checking into it for you". how does a company that does this for such a long time have NO IDEA where my things are or when they would be here. again if you actually want someone to communicate back with you with courtsey and promptness do not choose this company to send every belonging you have across the country.

This company does not quote enough workers or good subcontractors for a move. The packers they contracted stole my wifes perfumes. My wife and I had to check off what was brought in for them so they know what was left, and even after we did that they still managed to lose 4 boxes of ours after stopping at one place along the way. To top it off they wasted 4 months of our time before without explination they denied to pay for the lost and broken things. We had over $2500 in claims and "trilogy claim service" there third party service offered us less than $500 in compinsation. So much for 100% coverage of our stuff. O well I will just have to write them a whole lot of bad reviews file a complaint with the IG and Military Moving Office and the military will evenually take back the money they were paid for doing the move. They just want to make this as painful as possible. Talk about righting your own death wish. Good Job you POS.

My husband and I moved from the east coast to the west coast and used Dodge Moving. We had the perfect experience! The driver was extremely attentive and detail oriented. He kept in touch with us throughout the move, letting us know exactly when he would arrive on the west coast, and also took great care of all of our stuff. You always hear horror stories about things getting damaged and lost when you do a big move, and we have absolutely every box and piece of furniture that was loaded on the truck in NJ. None of our walls or floors were banged up either, which made it even smoother. Dodge also uses a great checklist that marks every individual box/furniture that gets loaded so that you can check it off when they unload in your new home. This made it even easier to ensure that everything was there. I would highly recommend using Dodge Moving!

This company was hired to move my neighbor. They ended up blocking our driveway periodically the entire day, without even as much as much as a courtesy knock on the door to inform anyone. I understand the trailer as it was necessary, but they also blocked the driveway with one of the crews own personal SUV. This continued for over ten hours and when finally questioned about moving the SUV, their moving crew was extremely rude and used profanity. Their lead, "boss" whatever you want to call him was equally rude and then asked if "I was a Christian" like that had a thing to do with his lack of common courtesy. I would not recommend this moving company to anyone, just for the simple fact their personnel are inconsiderate and unprofessional.

After 28 years in the same house I dreaded our relocation move. It was happening quickly within 6 weeks and my husband was already at our new location. From the beginning of our association with Dodge to the very end we encountered only professional caring people who understood the stresses of moving a family of 5 who have been in one place so long. They called when they said they would, they arrived when they said, they handled our belongings with extreme care. They followed up to make sure we were comfortable and happy with every step of the process. Everything arrived from ATVs to china without a bump dent or crack. One a scale of one to five they are TEN!!!!!!!

I was charged 1 month later a $40.00 overage that I was never told about. They never called to tell me or ask for authorization to withdraw the money, The move was for my mother, who is now in skilled nursing and unable to make any financial decisoins due to dementia. I mange her money very carefully and am very disappointed with the lack of communication. They took it upon themselves to take her money 1 month after the services were performed with no prior notification. I am a big proponent of good customer service and trancparency which Dodge Moving had neither. I will be looking for differnt movers in the future and using social media to warn others to stay away.
