Fry-Wagner was recommended to me by a friend that used them previously. In the beginning everyone was very helpful and informative. They sent someone out to my house to provide an estimate prior to my move. The estimate seemed very accurate and fair. I moved from MO to TX on July 29th and have not heard from the moving company once. It stated in my contract that my belongings would be delivered on August 17th. I have talked to three extremely rude and dishonest employees within the customer service division in the past 2 days. I am without my furniture and no where to stay until they decide to locate my furniture. Everyone keeps telling me it is in transit with no potential date of arrival. It stated in my contract my belongings would be delivered on the 17th. Still have not heard from anyone when my belongings will be delivered. I have never been spoken to so poorly from a reputable company in my life. I am beyond disappointed and extremely upset that they have no level of respect or even seem to be apologetic for what they are putting me through. I will never in my life use them again or ever recommend them to anyone. I honestly believe my belongings have never left MO and they will continue to tell me they are in transit for the next two weeks. If I could actually speak with someone there that knows what they are talking about and can actually help that would be ideal. I wont hold my breath. Even after I told them I would not be able to move into my apartment without belongings no one even offered a solution. This is a HUGE mistake and problem on their hands and not one person wants to take responsibility for it.

Awful communication and service even when my parents were supposed to get VIP service from an upper executive of Fry-Wagner. Fry-Wagner packed the house into one truck and called my parents two days later saying they split it into two trucks -- no notice of the possibility of this action was ever given. The delivery window to the new house was June 8-11. When Fry-Wagner called and told my parents about the splitting of their belongings, they indicated the second truck was no longer guaranteed to be within the original delivery window. What about THAT makes sense?! Nothing. Fry-Wagner assured them that what they deemed as "essentials" would be on the first delivery. Well that first truck got there a day later than planned because the trucks starter went out. In the meantime, the representative from Fry-Wagner called my parents to tell them the second truck wouldnt be there until June 21st - 10 day AFTER the end of the original delivery window. Try again, Fry-Wagner. According to the Fry-Wagner rep, she "sweet talked" (her words) the driver of the second truck and the second truck arrived this afternoon (June 13th), but with the load in completely damaged condition (see picture in comments below). This all of course doesnt even begin to touch the hassles my parents have had to go through, particularly of spending hundreds of extra dollars rearranging hotels on their road trip to their new location and waiting for Fry-Wagner to show up, as well as buying extra "essentials" that did NOT come on the first truck as promised. Nothing about this experience went well - in fact it was nothing short of horrible.

Least professional company of all movers. I contacted United in March about an upcoming move. A rep immediately called to set up an appointment with an estimator (Steve). Took the estimator several days to get back with me and then promised to call me back by Friday. Tracked him down the following week through someone in his office and when we spoke he wanted to know what I wanted...maybe the estimate he promised? Heard nothing for another week or so, called again and he said he was almost done and then asked, "How far do you think it is to Orlando?"...gee, I dont know, maybe as an interstate estimator you would have that information but I googled it for him. Still waiting but never received anything from them. I have moved on to other moving companies that provide me actual quotes when promised and dont ask questions that they should already know. During the time I was waiting for the estimator to get back to me, I received 3 calls from United asking me if I wanted a quote for my move and I had to tell them an estimator had already been assigned. Complete lack of professionalism by Fry-Wagner, definitely will not use and do not recommend.

Was required to use Fry-Wagner as part of work related move. I was extremely disappointed across the board. The moving coordinator was very inexperienced and made me waste a good part of a day trying to reserve parking on my quiet, residential street, though it wasnt necessary. Frankly, this should have been their responsibility, but she wasted my time by continuing to require me to work through it. Then they used paper wrapping on all of my furniture - per their contract - this resulted in one of my nicest pieces of furniture being damaged. When I went to fill out the claim form, I looked back on the inventory, and they had recorded all these damages to my property that did not exist. So, when I called to talk about this, the answer was, "You signed the form." I hadnt looked through this form in detail though had read a bunch of the others: I had a few minutes to look through them because I was trying to finish up moving out so I could fly out. Needless to say, customer service was poor, inexperienced, dishonest, sloppy, and frustrating. The some of the people were nice, but if I had a choice, I wouldnt use them again.

10 stars for the young man who were moving us, the salesman STEVE is awful!!!!! He bring the whole experience down to a 1. He bid for 2 trucks yet I had to rent a 3rd 26ft truck to finish the move. And then AWFUL Steve forgets to call the third party techs to set up the sleep number bed, tvs and glass pieces. Called Steve at 510 pm land he still hasnt called back but did try to be sneaky and call 3rd party t to get appointment today!! Thanks for making the first night in the new home miserable, STEVE. If Steve shows up to bid your home ask for someone else!!! Or choose another moving company. If you have a contract with these clowns take it to a lawyer before hand because they will never take any responsibility. And there prices are way over priced. Find a different company. Sad to say they actually represent St. Louis

Run as fast as you can away from Fry Wagner. They quoted us a semi-truck and a trailer to do a shuttle move - then sent a smaller truck and had to send another small truck to pick up the difference. The second truck was delivered to Dallas two weeks after the first truck requiring us to fly from St. Louis twice to accept delivery. Then they refused to credit us for the shuttle cost and the cost for us to fly to Dallas twice to accept the 2nd truck. They kept all the furniture blanket wrapped as they moved it into our storage lockers. When we signed the ticket without them unwrapping the furniture, the driver said dont worry, you have 6 months to file a claim. They just rejected the claim since the problems were not noted on the drivers ticket. Find someone else to move you.
