Im surprised under the options to choose, I have to select "Poor-Fair" since I wouldnt say fair, I would only say poor. I have contacted this company many times in the last few weeks about various properties through Craigslist and a few other rental sites. First off, on Craigslist they list their properties that they are wanting to do a lease/purchase under the rentals section. If I wanted a lease/purchase, I would look under the real estate section. I want to look for rentals, so every property listed under rentals should strictly be rentals. To miscategorize them is very annoying. I sent in several requests for more information and generally got a form e-mail back stating they were happy I contacted them, and if I had "any further questions" to please contact them. They never answered one question I had already submitted in the first place! I then used their website to set an appointment between 9 am and 11 am to see a property I may have been interested in. I got an e-mail back simply stating, "Thats confirmed for showing" with not so much as a period at the end of the sentence. This is supposed to be a professional company? And... what exactly is confirmed for showing? Between 9 am and 11 am? So... the realtor will just sit there between 9 am and 11 am and see when I show up? Or perhaps she should have given me an exact time within the time frame that was good for her. I just find the whole thing very weird. Not being able to get a straight answer on anything and just a huge lack of communication, I wont be doing business with them. If they cant handle e-mail I sure wont trust them in the process of renting me a home.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Our only regret is that we went with another realtor before talking to Hickinbotham. Prior to meeting with Scott, our home had been on the market with another realtor for over 1 year. They had no experience dealing with manufactured housing or how to price it in a rural area, We were continually told the reason we couldnt sell our home, was because of where it was located. No one seemed to want a home in a rural area. From the moment Scott sat down with us so we could price our home for sale, to finally closing almost 90 days later, Hickinbotham has stood shoulder to shoulder with us. Scott assured us that he could sell our home and that the location was great. A rural setting with close proximity to a state highway was what some people for looking for. We started receiving offers, one week after our house posted on the Internet. We had never had as much interest in the house in all the time we were with the other realtor. For my husband and I, this has been among the most stressful times in our lives. Hickinbotham was there to help us through the whole process, calm our fears and concerns, and help relieve the stress. I would absolutely, positively, and completely recommend Hickinbotham. From Scott who helped us price the home, to Ashley who took the wonderful pictures, to Crystal who guided us through until closing, thank you.

When I visited Hickinbotham Real Estate I was from out of town (way out of town - South Bend, Indiana). The staff was so friendly and helpful I immediately felt at ease. I am trying to decide between several locations around the country which is the only reason I cant give 5 stars. We havent gone through the purchase process (yet) so I cant honestly review them on that. When I revealed to them that I was looking in areas that they didnt cover, they even offered to help find a reputable agent in those areas. Their knowledge and helpfulness was impressive and their friendliness was an added perk. When the time comes that I am ready for the services they offer I will definitely be giving them a call.

Be sure to read your lease befor signing it or you will be very upset after you put $3000 into hidden maintenance for anything to be liveable because they will not do any maintenance after you sign the lease
