The 5-star reviews are obviously fabricated. I just drove my friend to his car to meet them so they could make him a new key after he lost his... Heres a bullet list of the experience [horror story]: - They had to reschedule last minute yesterday due to a scheduling issue on their end. - They were 15 minutes late this morning. - They were in the car in about 2 seconds (we had provided the VIN beforehand), but It took them an hour to figure out how to program the new key. This may be normal; I dont know. It just seemed like they didnt know what they were doing. - After completely done and the car is running, they screw up and charge him 3 times - overdrafting his account. - Hes told he has to drive to their main office to get the refunds because they cant do it via the mobile device. - He drives to the office (a house with a large Jesus sign out front) and they proceed to charge him 2x again instead of refunding him 2x (hes now paid 5x and owed a 4x refund). - An hour of the owner trying to figure it all out, and nothing. Now he gets to call his bank to sort it out. I dont think I can state this any clearer: Avoid these inept "locksmiths" like the plague. It honestly looked like they sent two trainees with absolutely no experience to figure this out. If they are new on the job, its not their fault - management should have never sent them alone to fumble through the process like this. All things considered, it probably would have been faster and less of a headache (maybe even cheaper) to have the car towed to the dealer.

I called them yesterday 12-5-16 to come out and make a key for my truck called at 1pm they said they had a guy already coming to the dealership well he didnt show up so i called and then a guy said he would be there in 30 min so i waited 45 min to call and see how much longer he was going to be.. then a lady said he should be pulling up any second.. so 2 hours go by still no locksmith. I was told 100 to make a key then finally at 3:45 the locksmith showed up which he himself was very nice and polite "only reason for leaving 1 star" however the price went from 100 to 120 over a "miscommunication" after ive given them the address multiple times! Now 120 is very ridiculous considering it was a normal key that didnt even have to be programmed! I will never use this company ever again!

Had a key made for my recently purchased 2010 CRV, 30K miles. . The locksmith used a dull cutter and had trouble with the key not working in the door. Made a small scratch in the paint on the key entry. Not a big deal but did not have the courtesy to tell me. Finished key works in ignition but not in door(Same as current key I have. The new key has multiple chatter marks from the dull cutter and looks unprofessional like it was made with a hacksaw. Since the door lock has never been used I suspect that the ignition key I have has worn and does not engage the unworn door lock properly. I took the key since I had no backup for the ignition. $80.00.

Charged $45 to cut a key that the worker had to JAM it in and out of the key hole pushing the door sheet metal in at least a half inch of not closer to an inch. It looked as though the door was going to be dented. His opinion was it would get easier the more I used it. Im scared its going to break my lock. Now I have to get another flip key and Im going to the dealer to cut it. Appears as if the key is not cut as deep as the factory key. And you would think for ten min of work and that price they could be more friendly, it was like I was an inconvenience, not a customer.

I needed my lock cylinder replace on a Ford F 150 drivers side door. They had difficulty with it and refused to quit until it was replaced. I really appreciated that they stuck with it until it was fixed instead of just giving up and sending me somewhere else. They also had a key blank that no one else had. They were very honest, helpful, and friendly. Id recommend them to anyone, anytime.

ASAP Lock & Key has the "KEY" to Customer Service! I needed to have a new remote and key made for my Buick SUV after losing my set of keys. The service was fast, curteous and excellent! I use these guys all of the time for business and personal. I have a company with lots of doors, some standard locks, some coded... and Frank has always taken good care of our locksmith and door repair needs. I do not remember the exact number of keys they have cut for me but I believe that number to be between 50 and 75 and again the keys have all been fine,

This is the best experience Ive ever had with a key place! I used another service the day before to get a new key made for my car, but after 2 hours, they could not get it to work. I called ASAP Lock and Key and they were able to get a new key made in 10 minutes!! It was 3 times cheaper than the original place quoted too. Definitely recommend.

I would highly recommand ASAP Lock and Key to anyone. I got locked out of my house at 10pm at night. The owner arrived very promptly after being called. He was very professional and was able to unlock one of the doors to my house so I could get in. If I ever get locked out of something again I plan to use ASAP Lock and Key.

We were locked out after coming home late from a soccer tournament. I called ASAP lock an key after 830pm and he was here by 845 and we were in the house by 850pm. Could not ask for better service!!! He was very speedy and reliable. I know who I will be using again when I need a locksmith!!!

ASAP Lock & Key repaired the lock on a small secretary desk. The center pin had failed so the key could no longer rotate properly. I could find no replacement to fit the existing mortise. ASAP carefully rebuilt the lock.
