I paid $33 for 2 (1/2) carwashes. I have been a local competitor’s customer for 18 years (cc carwash) and decided to try something new. I ran through green lantern 2 Sundays ago, the car wash itself took over 35 mins. I was on my way to a birthday party in Augusta Mo and didnt anticipate the wash to take this long. Being that I was running 15 mins behind, I got my wife and daughter in the car and we hit the road. About halfway to my destination I notice red marker in the driver side corners of my windshield. When we get to our destination I look the car over and see that they did not clean my tires, floor-mats, and did not apply the scent of new leather (when they asked me if Id like that in addition, free of charge) 2 hours later I go back, I was on a tight schedule and did not have time to let them make the changes, but I refuse to be charged $33 and have something like all 4 tires overlooked. This is something that would NEVER, and has NEVER happened to me at the other full service carwashes in the area. The manager (young lady with blond hair) inspected my vehicle and agreed that there was marker left on my windshield and that the tires were overlooked. She asked me to pull my car in for a touch up, at which time I explained to her I did not have time for that, but they may refund my money, or provide me with a voucher so that I can come back at a later date and try this again.. She opted for the later and gave me a signed receipt so that I could come back at a later date and have the vehicle re-washed. I just took it back today... I explained to the cashier that I had this voucher and would like to use it. She asked (would you like the interior taken care of as well?" I said "well yes, thats what I paid for, if you look you will see on the receipt that I paid for the premium wash of $33." I went through the and pulled my car around. They finish up, I look around the car and I see the tires have armorial and tell the employee "looks good this time, thanks!" Then I get in the car and realize that they did not service the interior this time. I see the same manger that gave me the voucher and let her know that, this time, the interior was missed. She proceeded to say "I remember you and you only had a problem with the exterior wash, so I am only comping you for the exterior wash".... I am on lunch and dont have time to argue about this. I paid $33 for 2 (1/2) car washes. I cant believe that this manager does not see the ethical dilemma here. Needless to say, I will NEVER recommend this company. Go 1 light down the road and there is a carwash that cares about their customers.

Extremely disappointing! I came to Green Lantern with great excitement to find a "real car wash". Initial impression was good - very nice girl at the pay station, and friendly guy prepping my car when i entered the wash. Since we had just had a snow storm the day before I decided to get the "Ultimate" wash (top exterior option) and felt that my car was deserving of the $16 wash. Wash was very dark inside and although I assume that there was all kinds of devices cleaning my car, the only thing that I could see was the long cloth streamers that were hanging from the ceiling slaping my hood and windshield. Once I left the wash and stopped at the bank a few buildings down, I got out of my car to find my front license plate bent at a right angle to one of the mounting screws. At that point I look around the car and found a fair clean, the wheels were partially clean (they did not have any break dust on them before the wash, just salt residue from the roads), and the back of my SUV (Nissan Murano) was mostly clean, but was not at all dry with tons of water on the back hatch and window as well as the bumper. I also noticed suds around the door frame, so I opened all of the doors to find the door jams full of soapy water which now dry have left wonderful water spots all over the car. On top of all of that, my $16 wash did not even include the tire shine - even the $5 car wash at a gas station includes that. As another person commented they do offer a 48 hour wash guarantee - I guess I could go back so that they could rip the rest of my license plate off and get some fresh soapy water spots...

My husband was a long time customer and this was always our favorite car wash for many years until yesterday. He had a car wash done that included cleaning the inside. It was kinda late so when he looked at it, he thought all was fine. This morning he got into his car and noticed white stuff on the windows. Thinking it was soap residue or lint he tried to brush it off. It wouldnt come off. Upon further examination he noticed it wasnt residue at all. The tinting on his window was scraped off. As you can imagine he was very angry as our windows were in perfect condition before this happened. I dont know how it happened, maybe there was something sharp in their towels or sponges but it tore small pieces of our window tinting off. Please avoid as we are at a loss at to what to do now. The tinting was factory done as well.

I visited last week for "the ultimate" inside and out since my wedding was that weekend and I didnt want my dress to get covered in dog hair during the drive. A friend had used them previously and they seemed to do a good job so I felt comfortable using them. Staff was very polite and courteous and actually did a pretty good job cleaning the interior. It wasnt perfect but it was a huge improvement, and what did I expect for $38 and a ~15 minute job? However, later that day I noticed a large scratch in my tint on my front passenger window. I first thought it was just a scuff and tried to "buff" it out, but it is definitely in the tint and absolutely was NOT there before. Normally it wouldnt bother me, but it is VERY noticeable and not in an inconspicuous area. This really bums me out because I know it happened there.

Going downhill fast. Prices have went up recently and twice in a row Ive had a bad experience. This week they only put tire shine of 3 of 4 tires and last week they didnt do any of the 4 tires, although it was paid for. Waited 30 mins this week and after car was done the young man showed me that there were alot of bugs still on the front and asked if I wanted it done over. Couldnt have noticed that before 30 mins were up? I didnt have 30 mins more to wait. Just seems like the quality has went downhill right after a price increase. This weekly is going elsewhere

Were new to the area and have been to the Green Lantern about 4 - 6 times so far. We really like this place and heres why: Consistent service relating to cheerful, well spoken, hardworking staff and no tipping allowed! Nice to not have to worry about how much to tip and whether the tips are making it to all of the hard working crew. We usually get a top of the line service which includes inside and outside and the tire service. Perfect? Mostly, after all, we arent paying for a detail, but a good inside/outside clean.
