DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE TED WIENS FOR YOUR SERVICE NEEDS. BIGGEST RIP OFF IN LAS VEGAS!Poor track record going back for years, I shouldve read the reviews before I went in to have my car fixed today. Told them what the problem was, check engine light and I suspected the thermostat and told them I was recommended by someone else to change the upper radiator hose as well. I had an 8 a.m. appointment,I was told it would be 10 oclock before they would know what was diagnosis was. It was closer to 11 before I knew what their diagnosis was. My bill was astronomical, but was told I NEEDED to change the hose and thermostat immediately to the tune of 560.00...I couldnt leave fast enough! They charged me 90.00 for the diagnostic test that I did not ask for. Any mechanic worth their salt couldve visually figured out what the problem was without raping me for 90.00. I was recommended to a fantastic shop in Henderson. They VISUALLY diagnosed the car (no charge) the hose DIDNT need to be replaced, just the 1 cent clamp. They replaced the thermostat all in about an hour and charged me 218.00 out the door. Apparently it is common practice for this establishment to take advantage of people at every turn.

I dont know how my first review got taken off this site but it gone. These people ripped me off big time...doing repairs that were not needed. More importantly, they may have purposely created a problem with my car. I was told I needed some new (expensive) part because my wheel was making noise. They had already "fixed" the other side at over 600 dollars. I had just been in for service a week prior to starting to hear the wheel noise. After hearing that the car would cost another 600 dollars, I decided to trade it in on a new car. On the way to look at new cars, my brother suggested I have another opinion. I stopped at an auto place and was told that whoever had last worked on my car had left the lug nuts loose on the front passenger side. They tightened them at no charge. When I called Ted Wiens to complain, I was told that they had diagnosed my car correctly, that I did need the work, and that I would soon be hearing the noise again. I never had a problem with it (even to this day) so you all know. Id stay clear of these people! Im not one to complain but I feel it my duty to keep this report online.

Had a transmission flush and inspection at Toyota. Toyota says I could use a steering flush also at the tune of $120. 3 weeks later I go to Ted Wiens for an oil change, which comes with a free inspection. Upon inspection they tell me I have an oil leak, TRANSMISSION leak, and I need to replace my rack and peering, and theyll do it all for a meer $1300. I inform Toyota, so they invite me back for yet another inspection free of charge. They find NO leaks, and I only need to change my steering fluid as opposed to rack and peering replacement. Maybe Toyota doesnt want my money.

I was thankful the manager Dave is open-minded, listening to my story. He was able to give my car a few minutes of extra love, and helped me see that their work was good an I had another issue to fix. The tech that was supposed to work on it decided he was going to show up late, so Dave stepped up and started. I would have gone with a 4 star, but not showing up, making me wait, and was full of excuses. I dont tolerate that. Thanks Dave for your service. Because of you, Ill wont have an issue coming back.

If I could give a zero stars I would. I took my truck in for an oil change and they told me I needed a new back light replaced for $18. Funny everything worked fine before I took it in. I said no, later. I found out that night I had no headlights and the back light swere fine. My daughter also took her Saturn in for an oil change and she was told that she needed a new light bulb.....hmm same problem. Everything worked fine before. I would not recomend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The professionalism of Mr. Oku and all of the crew is truly incredible! My college-aged daughter went by alone for a full vehicle check-up before driving her 15 year old car cross country and was taken care of as if she was an employee. No funny business. :) A short time later, I found out that my 80 year old dad went by for some work on his Chrysler 300 Hemi. The service never wavers. Amazing Integrity, Quality, and Fairness! Thank you!

As a fleet manager I direct where the vehicles should be taken for service and even if they are on the other side of town I make sure they are serviced at only this location. Knowing the problem will be properly addressed, timely and fair priced I dont have to worry about surprises or extras and the problem will be fixed correctly the first time eliminating return trips and lost productivity. Thank you Dave for always doing a great job.

The two workers in the office are always nice. However whoever rotated my tires, I am now Im missing a hubcap. Not only that, they try and sell me extras all the time that I dont actually need. Luckily my oil change was free, I probably wont be going back... Edit. Make that two hub caps. Thanks.. I might as well take them all off until I can buy new ones, and since to didnt put them on properly, theyll probably pop right off!

I was fortunate enough to get a great recommendation from a trusted friend. Go to Dave he said. I have been going to Dave now for about a year and a half and have had such great customer service and quality of work! I have sent my own daughter to him (that should say how much I trust him). Last week I had an unexpected incident and once again, Dave helped me out! I am so happy to find someone I really trust!

They are honest, fast and ok on price. I take both of my cars to this location because its close to my office. The only complaint i have is that they did not tighten a belt properly so i had to take my car back. They do charge a bit, but its all backed by warranty. having a charge card with them helps esp. when repairs can be more then whats in my bank account at times.

Went there today to use a "flat tire repair" coupon I have. I was told it was unrepairable. Guy tried to sell me a new tire and told me I needed a $700+ strut job. I left and went to Discount Tire. Discount Tire plugged the tire and honored the Ted Wiens coupon. Shame on you Ted Wiens!

Customer service was very good and they made sure to tell me what was urgent and what was just a recommendation. SET AN APPOINTMENT for your service as walk ins can take some time! But when they got to my car they had it done fast.
