DO NOT GO to the Midas located on 3232 N. Durango in Las Vegas ( THEY ARE CROOKS and INCOMPETENT). In the name of repairs theyll mess up your car then deny any wrongdoing. They will not take responsibility for their misdiagnosis and guess work!!!! . Thats exactly what happened b to me. I have disclosed my autos symptoms and theyve diagnosed the problem based on visual & guess work method. They gave me a long list of repairs which were irrelevant to the problem. After performing the repair they had recommended for the specific car problem , theyve ruined my car as the check engine light came on immediately after the so called repair and added other costly problems to my car which they refused to repair. When I complained, they said they dont have the right equipment to diagnose my model and year!!! In Awe, I asked them then why did you touch my car in the first place? Knowing you are not equipped with the right tools, shouldnt you have turned the service down in the first place? PS. OWNER is a dishonest LIER and Dan, the receptionist is an arrogant, rude and bitter person who thinks hes Mr know it all. He is especially rude to women. They Ruined my German car by causing major, costly damage to it and never fixed it for me. The star given is one star too many for this dive. In order to enter your comment, its mandatory to give 1-5 stars I guess!!!! I give them TWO THUMBS DOWN instead. Note: Ellis must be alias for the owner itself giving himself a 5 star and complements!!!!GOOGLE the business owner and you will see the owa The same management as last year, THEY ARE CROOKS. The owner pretended he is compassion but didnt do anything to help. Hes full if hot air. They offer good LIP Service if thats the kind of service you want. Dont fall for these phonies who ruin your car, service your pocket then dont do Jack to fix it.

I thought I needed new brake pads because I started hearing a slight grinding sound when I braked. I called for an estimate and spoke to Ira, the very cordial, friendly manager. He invited me in for an inspection of my brakes and told me they were featuring a $99 special per axle (two brakes per axle). The price was right, so I came in. Ken, one of his mechanics, another very personable guy, took my truck for a spin and then put it up on the lift, took off the tires and inspected the brakes. He told me that I didnt need new pads -- he said some grease had leaked through the seals and got on the pads, which accounted for the grinding noise. He cleaned and adjusted my brakes and I was out of there for a reasonable charge of $44 including tax, and an invitation to drop by 5,000 miles down the road to see if the pads need replacement then. As you know, mechanics selling unneeded repairs are a common complaint. If you value knowledgeable, honest mechanics who treat you fairly, I urge you to call Ira and take your car to this Midas center. Good people who do good work.

Crooks!! Came into Midas for a oil change I had a coupon for $19.99, was told I needed to upgrade to synthetic oil for my nissan Sentra which would cost $35, not a problem. But for some reason they opened up my engine air filter and cabin air filter hatches and told me I need to have them replaced, then told me both my belts were also ripped and they would charge a little over $300 to repair, I told them no and they repeated to try to persuade me in to paying for the repairs, I paid the $35 and told them my husband would fix the rest, they left my filters on the car floor, now since I left, I hear a knock and hissing sound coming from my engine, I came there with zero noise or concerns. I would never return or recommend this place. Crooks!!!

RIP-OFF JOINT. BEWARE!!! Took my F-150 in for a brake job. They asked me if I had ever done a brake job before and I told them no. I have really done dozens--I just wanted to hear what they had to say. Worse than I expected. They wanted to charge me just a few dollars under $1000 for a brake job. They said it was so expensive because it would take over 5 hours and it had an integrated seal assembly that could not be repaired but had to be replaced. The assembly is $15 +/- at any parts store. I told them what they could do with their quote, went to OReillys and did my own brake job with top-of-the-line parts, including a new rotor, for $155 in under 1 hour.

This is the first that actually tells me the truth about what I do and dont need. Ive been ripped off by other places but not here! They go out of their way to find me the best deals on parts and discounts to lower my bill. They treat me like family and I will never go anywhere else. If they seem to be busy all the time its only bc they are that busy helping people who trust them just like I do. They also offer a Midas credit card if youre short on cash. I wish Id been going here from the start. Im moving out of state and will miss the great customer service I always receive here. They also give 10% off for uber drivers!

Efficient & considerate service. I bought Groupons for a full synthetic oil change & for an A.C. flush/recharge. They estimated 2 hours on the phone, I brought it in and told them no rush, and they had it done in 2.5 hours. When they called, they alerted me to an acid leak in my car battery. They advised me that I might want to take it elsewhere to get it replaced because they only had high-end expensive batteries available, and I decided to do that (get the battery replaced elsewhere) - I appreciated their candor about it. Would absolutely go back, even without a Groupon. Glad to have a healthy car again! :)

I have 3 older vehicles (1996, 1999, and 2002) which I have been taking to this Midas for the past 2 years. The service has always been good in terms of diagnosis and they will go out of their way to finish up what ever repairs you need the same day. The current manager, Ira, is the best so far. Very personable, and with 20 years experience working at GM he knows how to diagnose and fix cars better than most mechanics. They also do not try to sell you services that you dont need. Very fair and honest. I drive out of my way to get my cars fixed here and wont take my cars anywhere else.

I came to this Midas after having problems with the work done by another Midas. I went there cause my brakes were starting to squeak. Alignment a little off. $380 later, im leaving Midas and when I apply the breaks my truck pulls into the left lane! They squeak worse than before! I went back 3 times, wasted 9 hours, and no fix. This Midas manager said I "Have to live with it" My truck pulls into other lanes when braking! It nearly causes accidents. Didnt he mean, I "Have to die from it!"
