My husband took our van here on 3/4/13 to get the oil changed, get a basic tune-up and a trip check since we were on our way to the Bay Area the next day for a surprise funeral. They said they could have us out by noon at the latest (he was there by 9:30am) and instead my husband didnt leave until shortly after 1:30pm. When we left the check engine light was still on (yes I said still, it came on after the fan belt came off a few months before and we hadnt taken it in to have it reset even after we fixed the belt), and they diagnosed several more problems with the car, but told him that he could wait until we came back from California. About 1/2-2/3 of the way there the thermostat started sticking at cold and the car started bucking frequently. We made it all the way to the bay, although by the time we got to our hotel the car was also making a rather loud squeaking sound continuously. The next morning (the day of the funeral) my husband took the car to an auto repair shop that we were referred to by the hotel staff. Unfortunately my husband was unable to attend the funeral with me because he was at the mechanics from 10am until 5pm getting the van fixed. They had to replace the radiator fan relay, the radiator fan itself and put 5 gallons of radiator fluid and water into the car. The owner of the auto repair shop said that if there had been enough fluid in it before we left the repairs still needed would have been minimal. Also there we were in California (known for being a rather pricey area) and the cost to fix everything that was broken because Firestone screwed up was only $100 more. So now the car squeaks no more, the engine light is off (the mechanic in CA said they never even attempted to reset it), our gas mileage is back where it should be and Firestone refuses to to compensate or make amends in any way, claiming that we were told we had a leak (my husband was not informed of this - and we dont, there have never been any fluids leaking from our car), and that if we had brought it back to them they would have been happy to fix it for us! Because we were supposed to make another 5 hr drive over the hill to bring it to them?! Awesome service, guys! I will NEVER visit this establishment again and will warn off everyone I meet!

I originally came here because I qualified for the firestone credit card, the only way I could afford 4new tires and an alignment. Prices for tires only slightly higher than walmart (I hate walmart and willing to pay more elsewhere) prices for other work is average. They told me about other work I needed but didn’t try to sell me more than what I came in for. Customer service was pretty good, except they offered me a “10% discount on my purchase” but when it was time to pay the bill he seemed irritated that I expected the discount on more than just the tires, he never explained that the discount didn’t apply to the labor, recycling charge, or any of the other fees. Also took a bit longer than they said it would but that has been my experience everywhere. Overall pretty good, actually probably the best experience I’ve had with a shop in this town. Other shops always try to sell me work I don’t need or a replacement that isn’t due yet, want to charge an outrageous price, take hours longer than originally promised, do work improperly / cause damage, etc. they didn’t do any of that so I’ll go back.

I wish I had listened to the reviews before going to this firestone. As a single woman I am somewhat used to being ripped off, but this place reached a new low. I was on a road trip and had had some tire issues along the way. I decided to go here to make sure there were no other outstanding issues I should be aware of. Not only did firestone try to charge over $600 for things that I later found out didnt need to be done, but they also did not find the problem (a seriously bent a frame on the left tire). Had they listened to my explanation of the problems my car had had along the trip, I could have saved hundreds in New tires and had a much more comfortable, much less potentially dangerous trip. Instead, this location tried to make money off of things that did not need fixing (new roters on the front, New drums on the back, etc.). Luckily, I got a second opinion. If I could give this location no stars, I would.

Every time I go into this shop to get the front end aligned or the tires rotated, something is allegedly wrong with the front end. If ball joints needed to be replaced, the tires would show the effect? The SUV drives straight without any "pull" one way or the other. My mechanic always laughs at the alleged suggested repairs that Firestone/Tires Plus lists. At one point during my visits, they even suggested replacing the same ball joint that was previously replaced by my mechanic. When I questioned their suggested repair, they had another mechanic look at the front end, and he stated that the front end was very stable and did not need any repairs. I am growing very tired of this process that they put me and and wife through.....

Went in for the $15 oil change, which was a great deal, and they told me it would take 45 minutes. It ended up taking an hour and 45 minutes (and they werent busy when I got there), and they came out with a list of things I should replace. One was the battery, which Ive never had problems with, and they wanted $150 to do it. The other was a busted CV joint, which legitimately needed fixed, but they wanted $100 more than the place I ended up taking it. I would NOT come back for car repairs!

They broke the oil pressure sensor on my jeep while changing the oil and tried to act like it was already broken. I normally change my own oil and knew for a fact that it was fine before I brought it in. They finally agreed to fix the part after I insisted but never apologized and instead acted like I was just trying to scam them out of a part.

Wasted three hours of my life Ill never get back on a job that shouldve been 20 minutes. To make matters worse, in the three hours, they couldnt even put the spare tire in the right place. I would take stars instead of giving aby if I could. Dont go here... those who take advise become wiser... again dont go here.

DONT GO HERE!!!!! This place is such a scam! They give you one price and end up charging you triple! They kept my truck for two days just to put on tires! I wish I could give this place a zero. Dont waste your time, effort, and money!
