These guys are absolutely amazing! I randomly lost acceleration and then could not get my 2002 Subaru Outback to start after pulling off to the side of the road while driving down the 5 freeway from Chico State area to Southern California. While waiting 2 hours in the middle of nowhere with 1-2 bars and 3G, I pulled up CKM on a google search and explained my situation. Not wanting to spend a Friday night in Fresno, with full knowledge that a majority of shops would be closed for the weekend. The shop was very patient with me on the phone and began working on my car almost instantly, explaining that I had a bad fuel pump. They quickly had NAPA expedite a new one and were unsure if they would have enough time to finish before closing. I explained I did not want to be stranded in Fresno as it was not my intended destination nor did I look forward to being stranded for the entire weekend. To which the Craig Chin (the owner) told me he would drop me off at a nearby motel and come in on Saturday to work on my car himself if necessary. We ended up getting the part we needed and after discussing what was being done to my car. Craig mentioned I should also change my fuel filter as a precaution and asked if I would like to do that as well or save $ on parts and labor and do it myself. He even gave me directions to the auto parts store! After finally getting to my destination I looked up average repair costs for the same job in my area and was throughly impressed to discover that the work performed was a fair if not almost cheaper price when I could have be fully taken advantage of. Thank You So Much Craig Chin and Family for your help. +theres a dog to play with in the lobby (added bonus stress reliever)

Dont believe all the reviews because everybody gets different service. Yesterday I called CKM to find out if they could repair a 1989 Ford Econoline 350. Although Daniel was friendly and courteous, he told me that the 1 ton van couldnt be placed on their hydraulic lift for repair. I told him all that was needed to repair was the alternator belt and bottom radiator hose needed to be replaced. In addition, I told Daniel that the breaks needed to be inspected. There was nothing complicated that the diesel van needed otherwise I would take it to Electric Lab Automotive. Daniel told me he thought CKM could not repair the Ford, but would, "Ask my boss." I didnt get a simple courtesy call back yesterday or today from CKM. Since I read all these good reviews about CKM I wanted to see if they were true. I was disappointed that CKM did not call me back. Based on my experience, CKM cannot repair anything on a 1 ton truck or van. I will take the Ford back to Electric Lab.

I got to say, these guys are great. Although you have to fork a little more cash than other places, it is all worth the penny. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly very friendly and welcoming. Their service time is reasonably fast and will keep you updated at all times during the service. After the job is complete, Bob at the front will go over the details explaining what the problems were, the fixes, and costs in great detail (with pictures). Hell, they even threw in a complimentary service check. I also noticed their shop was very clean and organized, which says a lot about these guys (many places arent so clean). To sum everything up, I took my vehicle in for a heavy service, got it back within reasonable time, and payed a fair price for a fantastic job. The saying goes both ways, you get what you pay for. Definitely coming back and would recommend them to my friends.

What a relief to finally find a repair shop that doesnt leave us frustrated by the experience of dealing with them. Recently we brought our 2008 F350 to CKM to diagnose a vibration problem that turned out to be a bad tire. While the truck was at CKM we also had them to do a routine oil change and service. This included a complete inspection of the vehicle. We then received an email with a detailed inspection report on the vehicle. Based on Craigs recommendations we had new tires installed and the F350 drives like a new truck. Thanks CKM for making us fans.

So far after 3 visits and work on 2 cars, weve been SUPER impressed and satisfied. The shop is clean, the office is inviting, and the service is detailed. We never imagined that such an organized and efficient automotive facility existed! Craig, Nhia, and Marilyn give great personal attention, while ALL our questions are answered thoroughly. To top it off, the sweetest lab not only greets us at the door, but hes also a Giants fan! CKM is more than we had hoped: Top car care, friendly people, and a smart dog! What more could we ask for?

Ive now brought two cars to CKM to have a courtesy inspection performed. Craig and his team do the most thorough job Ive ever seen for an inspection. This is a family owned business and they go above and beyond to make sure that youre completely satisfied with any work they do on your vehicle. The staff is friendly and trustworthy. The shop is also very clean and professional and I plan on bringing my vehicles here for any maintenance or repairs in the future.

The shop is clean, the service is friendly and professional. I give two stars because I never would have taken my car in if I had realized how high the pricing is. Im taking my car to my usual mechanic (whose shop is quite far from my house) because I cant justify the prices at CKM, even though they offer a well-run business.

ckm is persistent in their efforts to diagnose and remedy obscure problems. i appreciate their advice on sequencing repairs and alerting of alternative work or maintenance which may be performed while assemblies are disassembled to reduce costs and extend the service life of my vehicles.

My car was misfiring called them told them whats going on and my car details they said OK bring it in. I had it towed in and the next day they tell me they cant work on my car. So I was out the tow money and diagnostic fee they charged me. They wasted my time and about $500 dollars.
