My experience has been completely opposite of these reviews. I am not sure why. I had leaks all around the chimney inside the house (it is in an area where the roof is exposed). I called tom and he appeared to be very responsive in the beginning. Tom quoted me $800 to complete a roof repair around my chimney. His guys completed on September 22/23, 2014. Tom indicated to me that, based on his experience, he knew that the flashing had to replaced. He also indciated that he couldnt warranty the work for the 5 year guarrantee that he had on his website but would warranty it for 1 year. His guys were there for about 2 half days and completed the roof repair. Tom asked me to pay extra $75 (for a total $875) to cover some "extra time" his guys spent on the job. I did ask for a receipt from Tom to describe the work completed and the warranty quoted, which Tom indicated he would send to me via email. I never received the receipt despite about 2 text messages and other phone messages over the last month. Today is one month after the repair and we are having heavy rains. My roof around the chimney is leaking about as bad as it was before Marquis Roofing completed the repair. The roof leaks are leaking on the 2nd story floor. Tom still hasnt returned any of my phone calls regarding this problem. Overall, the workmanship is poor, the responsiveness is non-existent and i will have to find another contractor to repair the roof repair. If anyone hires Tom in the future, i think a contract in the beginning would be the best approach. Also, i believe Tom hires jouneymen to complete the work so as a homeowner id be concerned about insurance. I think it would be prudent to ask Tom for his insurance certificates to cover yourself before his subcontractors get up on the roof.

We needed a new roof installed as we live in a mobile home and the previous roofers just installed over the old shingles (not correct for a mobile home as it adds an extra 2000 lbs to outer walls weakening the structure) which caused quite a bit of leveling issues. We wanted the roof done asap before New England winter storms hit and Tom was able to rearrange his schedule so we were done within 7 days of the call and all in one day! They came in and tore up the old shingles, replaced with an entire new roof, cleaned up after themselves, took all the debris with them and stood by their labor. There was a problem where when removing the old shingles they dislodged the furnace pipe. Tom backed up his work and resolved the situation completely and immediately. There was no hassle or haggling about the issue. He just took care of it. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a new roof and understanding your situation. Mobile homes have their own set of rules when remodeling and revamping and it was nice knowing I could trust someone to understand our predicament.

I have an old home in the Nashua area that was in bad need of a new roof. The old roof had been done over many times and needed a complete tear down and rebuild. As many contractors as I had come to look at the job, very few even returned a bid to us. Tom was not only the most affordable, but was very up front, personable and flexible with our working situation as we were also trying to coordinate other contractors for insulation and window installation. Toms crew was very productive and very responsible with their cleanup every day to do the best to minimize the amount of disruption to our lives. Now we have a much nicer looking and better functioning roof that will help to keep the inside of our house much drier! Much thanks to Marquis roofing for doing what they promised on time and with no surprises.

Tom and his crew at Marquis Roofing did a fantastic job fixing the roof on the newer side of my house that a previous contractor who did the original roof messed up. Tom evaluated what I needed done to do the job right and gave me a great price. I was also impressed over his service as we ran into weeks of rain that delayed our estimated start date and Tom called me each time to keep me in updated on the exact date he could do the work. He came in with his crew and did the full job in 2 days and did the job right as many others told me my chimney leaks where fixed but they were not, Toms work did not leak at all even thru hurricane Sandy. I needed a new roof installed and looked at many roofers in Manchester nh. I am very happy I found this roofing company. We had them do a complete roof replacement. Tom Marquis the owner really knows his stuff, as do the workers. The workmanship was great and I have no complaints whatsoever. They are dependable and show up on time, plus include things like extra ice and water shield. Not only did the roof job come out great, but they were the most reasonable price of all the roofers, in one case 40% less! Ive already recommended this company to two of my friends. I also dont normally write reviews, but I am so pleased with this roofing company I was compelled to write this.

Ive hired Marquis Roofing to re-roof three different houses in the Nashua area -- all of which were badly in need of a complete rip, repair, and new roofing. Tom is extremely knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. The work is always completed professionally, quickly and correctly. And the entire area is perfectly clean when they are done. The price is reasonable. And Toms guarantee actually means something! One of my houses had a tricky skylight that probably was incorrectly installed to begin with. Tom made sure that the area would not be a problem again.

He was able to start the work right away and worked very well around the rainy days and still completed the work in 4 days. Quality of his work is very good and his whole team was friendly and professional. They continuously cleaned the property for nails and left the property clean. I called Marquis Roofing to come and shovel the snow on my roof before this storm comes with another foot of snow. They came out as soon as they could which was at 8:30 pm that same day and shoveled all the roof until it was done. They worked very hard in such cold weather. I was very pleased. A job well done! Not real dependable. They gave a quote and did not stick by it. They got upset when I decided to get a couple of quotes before deciding to use them. When I award them the job a couple of weeks after they gave the quote they wouldnt honor their quote. They told me their price did not include all the materials and work we discussed. They said the hurried the quote and left things out. They told me they would provide references and never did. I would not recommend them.
