After heavy snows in 2015, a cold March brought the Classic Metal Roof team out to cover the existing roof in Oxford Shingle toward the end of the month. Coming from all across the state, they arrive early and stay late and work efficiently and quietly. Except for the pounding, youd not know that up to seven people were working on our roof. It seems like each person has his specialty, and takes pride in his work. The detailing is neat. My special requests were granted without question. The crew picks up whatever they can and collects debris on tarps whenever possible. Cleanup was difficult because of the 4+ feet of snow still on the ground. So, tiny scraps of metal were around after the snow melted. My concern was for my dog. Since the metal roof was put on top of the existing asphalt shingle roof, the sound of the rain may not be as dominant as it might be if there was only the metal roof. However, when the snow begins to shift and move, it can make you wonder whats happening. It slides down in sheets, and can be brutal to shrubbery. This house has a 3 pitch roof, so heavy snow raises concerns. Therefore, I requested the snow guards not to be installed, so that the roof could be shoveled. Ice dams continued to build up this year on the north and east facing sides, so I shoveled whenever it was possible. So, for quality workmanship, you cant ask for better. I expect this roof to last for a very long time. I like the appearance, and am happy with my choice. Bonnie House Phillipston, MA

Best roof ever! The guys that installed it worked during some of the coldest days of the year. They were very efficient, cleaned up after themselves.. But most of all extremely professional. Our choice for a metal roof was the best we could have made. Although a bit higher in price than a conventional roof.. watching the snow and ice slide off all winter makes it worth every penny. Gives us such a great looking home as well. NO MORE ROOF RAKES! Would recommend Classic Metal Roofs to everyone.. Thanks for such a great product. The Stewarts.

8+ years down the road, two roofs (one original and one addition) and ZERO problems. Without a doubt this was the best money I have ever spent. And yes it did cost more, but it cost a lot less in the long run because I dont have to replace it every 15 years, and I dont have ANY water damage from ice. Every problem I had with the roof was solved completely. (Now if someone would invent a gutter that folded out of the way for winter....) I honestly have no idea why anybody would ever put an asphalt shingle roof on a house.

I was impressed with Mr. Gonet when we first discussed our roof. When we decided to go forward with the project CMR was a pleasure to work with, answering our questions and staying on budget. The crew that did our roof was done in a week, which considering the difficulty of ripping the old roof off was pretty good. In my opinion the crew went beyond what they had to do, working with us to help resolve issues that had nothing to do with the roof.

Excellent work and you cant beat their transferable warranty. We live directly on the coast with a NE exposure. The wind can get very bad where we live. In spite of lots of fierce wind along with exposure to sea water, the roof looks just as good as it did when it was installed. They can get busy, so the sooner you schedule thr project, the sooner it can begin.

Classic Metal Roofs did a first class job on my log home roof. On time, kept area cleaned up and the finished roof is gorgeous. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them. You definitely get the quality roof you were promised when you signed the Contract. And....you get what you paid for!!!

The team showed up on time and ready to go. One small problem with the original decking was corrected with a new underlayment over the decking so my new roof (hip roof) was done quickly and professionally. Living in New England, I would only recommend the addition of an heat element under the roof to avoid ice dams.
