NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE. March 17th - Hal, the rep, came to my house to evaluate my needs. Had a nice enough conversation with him. Hal pointed out some other areas of concern and I agreed to have them included in his estimate. Before leaving Hal said it would be a “few weeks” before he had the estimate to me since he was “very busy”. I had no issue since I wanted the work done in the spring and it was only mid-March. May 5th (53 days after initial consult) - I emailed Hal asking him when I could expect the estimates. He responded same-day saying, “My apologies for the delay. I will make every effort to get that completed and to you shortly.” May 13th (60 days after initial consult) - I emailed Hal again asking when I could expect the estimates. He responded same-day saying, “My sincere apology for such delay. Not to make excuses, just been swamped.” May 23rd (70 days after initial consult) - I emailed Hal again asking when I could expect the estimates. He responded same-day saying, “My apologies. Yes, we are closer. Really making every effort to get this out to you.” May 23rd - I went to the Landmark Roofing website to the ‘Contact’ section to log a my issue of not being able to get a response from one of their Rep’s on an estimate for work, now 70-days old. David White, one of the partners at Landmark, emailed me same-day saying, “Please allow me to look into this delay. We have been backed up a bit, one of our project managers has been out with a medical issue, however we should have been able to service your request and have communicated with you sooner. I will speak with Hal and get back to you on your project.” May 24th - I responded to Dave, thanking him for his response and said that if they had issues internally (medically or otherwise) then I would have preferred to have been told that up-front instead of being given the run around. June 1st - I emailed Dave again saying that I was still waiting to receive my estimates and eluded to the fact that it was clear they didn’t want my business. June 1st (79 days after initial consult) - I emailed Hal again asking when I could expect the estimates and suggesting that he didn’t care to have my business. He responded same-day with a long-winded email, taking very large liberties with the conversation we had on our initial consult. Actually suggesting that I had “take-away’s” that I needed to accomplish on my end before any work could be done…LIE. He also suggested that we spoke about a “follow up meeting” to review options which isn’t entirely a lie but I needed the estimates to understand what my options were. Also, he said that I wanted I “preferred an E mail with "numbers"…this is commonly referred to as an Estimate, but clearly he is trying to minimize his role and lack of responsiveness. He also included Dave and another person, Gary on the email (who I can only assume is some form of partner like Dave). I responded to the same day, appalled, calling out his lies and thanking them for completely wasting my time.

I could not have been happier with the service we got from Landmark. Hal came out to my house to evaluate the currant state of the roof. He gave us multiple options/quotes in a timely manner. One of our skylights had a slight leak and they took the initiative to bring their skylight technician to our house to make sure we were provided us with the most accurate information. Within a couple weeks, they had their crew at our house replacing the roof. These were the hardest working bunch of guys. They arrived early in the morning and were finishing up when I arrived home from work. The crew did a thorough walk through of the property afterwards to ensure there was no debris left over (much appreciated considering we have a toddler who runs around the yard everyday). A couple days later, Landmark even sent someone back to the house to do a final walk-through to make sure everything was doing perfectly and cleaned up. I highly highly recommend Landmark.

Outstanding performance by Landmark Roofing! In March of 2017, I had an issue with roof tiles that blew off my 10 year young roof - and this happened the day before it was predicted that the Boston area would get a snow storm with 14+ inches of new snow! Imagine my concern! I called Landmark Roofing and reached Gary (who was great and who has the best ‘Customer Service focus’ in business that I have run into in the last 10 years!) and he arranged to get someone over to my house that same day. I was unbelievably - and very pleasantly surprised! Within the hour - Mike arrived to do the repair job and I found him to be thorough, professional, knowledgeable and highly skilled – and he did a fantastic job with the urgent repair. I now need a new roof and will look to Landmark Roofing first to do this major home project for me! All my thanks to an absolutely outstanding team! Paula F

My wife and I were very happy with our experience with Landmark Roofing. From our initial quote from Hal, to Fred and Jimmy putting the finishing touches on the roof. The crews were punctual and great about cleaning up as they worked. We have 2 dogs and were not worried about them chewing on old shingles, because there were none to find. Hal and Fred met all our expectations from budget, time line, and the finished product. We would certainly recommend them to anyone in need of a roof or repairs. Hal and Fred are very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. They care about their business and take the time to explain everything they are doing and why.

We had a great experience with Landmark Roofing. They did a thorough assessment of our situation and explained the various options (Im not a roofing expert but they made it understandable). Their prices were fair and the craftsmanship seemed high. Given that they are dependent on the weather and that we live in a 100-year old house with lots of surprises, they did as good a job as possible in finishing up our job on time and on budget. The foreman supervising the job went above and beyond to keep the project moving and keep us informed of any changes. And they even cleaned up professionally! Id definitely recommend them.

Great experience from our first call to Landmark Roofing to job completion. Hal responded almost immediately to our request for a quote and came to look at the property the day after we spoke. He presented his proposal in a few days and helped us to finalize our options. The crew came exactly when Hal said they would. The job was done in one day, the material and workmanship are of high quality, the crew was very professional and our yard was left very clean. We had Fred and his team out this week to fix damage to our slate roof after last weeks wind storm. We reached out late on Friday afternoon and the team was at our house just a couple of days later to fix our roof. This roofing company is professional and punctual and we are happy with the work they did. We have used several companies since owning a slate roof and this has been the most positive experience to date.
