TERRIBLE!!! Last Thursday, my right front caliper blew, I called my regular mechanic, who said my car was NOT safe to drive. Mike came over and asked if I needed help. I thought he was so nice, I explained to him what was going on, and, he said he agreed, my caliper probably did blow. I brought my car to his shop (directly next to where I was), he said he would look at it in the morning. The next morning, he called and said I needed a caliper, rotor and pads. I asked him what the cost would be. He told me, I confirmed THREE TIME that the price included all the parts and labor. He called me a bit later to say my right tie rod was shot, but, I needed to replace right and left. I asked the price, confirmed that it included parts and labor, he said yes. I told him I would call him back to say yes or no. I called him back, told him to go ahead. I got my car back, paid, and, drove my car home, where, it sat for three days. I started my car on Tuesday, and, my brake light went on. I called Mike, he said it sounded like I blew a brake line, and, should come in Wednesday to have it looked at. I stopped at my dads house, to have him look at it. The brake fluid was leaking from the connector valve from the brake hose to the brake line...they did not tighten the valve enough, which, is dangerous. We looked at my rotor, and noticed it is my old rotor, not even resurfaced! My pads on the right side are new, but, the left side is old, which, again, is dangerous!!! I checked my receipt at that point, he charged me for a caliper and brake hose...nothing on there about the other work we spoke about. He also charged me for inner tie rods only, you change both outer and inner tie rods when you change tie rods. I did not put my car on a lift to see if they were actually changed, but, my regular guy is going to check. Maybe he thought, because I am a woman, I wouldnt notice. But, I checked parts prices, and, had he done everything correctly, with a markup on parts, his price would have been correct. He did not do what any good mechanic would have done. He said he road tested it (twice...I was charged twice for road testing), if he had, he would have noticed the brake fluid was coming from the valve. Also, my mileage in and my milage out was the same....

I bought a car at the auction with a no known history, I was about to risk driving to MA with this car but went to this guy...of all the car places on rockingham road. Guess what, I thank my stars I did. He was on this car from the time i came in and he suggested things to be changed and things to be considered much later. Also there was a noise from the wheels which he took care of just like that...Overall with the parts and Labor...Mike helped me pull off my auction stunt purchase and I still drive my car and would suggest anyone to just go in and see what this guy is doing...Marvelous....Thanks Mike

Amanda Cassidy, First off you said you needed your car for the weekend, but in your post you stated that you didnt drive your car for 3 days, Also its pretty petty that you have to say that this dispute is over the fact that you are a woman, so lets start with a little truth here. If you didnt agree with what we were doing then we never would have done the work and sent you on your way. There was never mention of replacing pads and rotors on the car, and stated that you were on a tight budget so we addressed what was most important so it was safe for you and your kids to be in.

My car was towed to this Auto shop one night when they were closed. The first thing in the morning the owner called me with the diagnoses and loved the prices he gave me and he notifies you before anything. He is extremely Honest and Loyal. I found my mechanic!

Mike is always honest about his repair works and estimates. His estimates and prices are better than most and he is also willing to tell you when the car is no longer worth putting money into if the repairs are going to add up to more than the car is worth.
