Very nice people, but overall I got hosed when I had my clutch cable replaced here a few years ago. I brought it to L&W because its a lot closer to my house than my regular mechanic and I didnt want to have to drive far away w/ limited shifting capability, plus its not a major fix. I needed it done fast, so I didnt shop around. I couldnt believe it when I picked my car up and the bill was nearly $400 ($370 I think it was). I had to bring it back the next day because when I went to shift, the pedal wouldnt come back and would get stuck pressed all the way to the floor, so every time Id have to put my toes under the pedal and grab it back. The guy who looked at it said it was fine and didnt affect the clutch, which was probably true, but it was a huge pain in the behind and it wasnt like that when I brought it in. A few weeks later I had my car inspected by my regular mechanic, who said he wouldve done the cable for $200 tops. And when I pointed the pedal out, he fiddled around with it for a few minutes and fixed it. Needless to say, I felt like hitting myself over the head with a frying pan.

Michelle at L&W is absolutely incredible. The word "no" isnt in her vocabulary. I took my suburban to her for some basic maintenance, fuel pump, wheel bearing etc and they were also able to fit me in same day and get the job done in hours not days. Just when you think you couldnt be any more pleased with their service you get the bill...finally an honest repair bill with reasonable rates. Not a "this job says it should take 4 hrs so thats what we are gonna charge you." They bill per hour and they are problem solvers they dont just replace parts like the dealers. After having such great luck with my burban I recently took my Audi A3 over for some more intricate, typically only Audi mechanic type work and theyve blown me away again. Take your vehicle here you will NOT be disappointed!
