Appears to be a HUGE UNNEEDED EXPENSE! Driving my 82 yr old mother back to her home from NH, the flange on my exhaust pipe gave way a short distance from this automotive repair garage in Middleboro. I was 100 miles from home and thankful that I didnt have to drag the pipe far, (less than 0.1 mi.). After a wait of 1.5 hours which I had no problem with, they told me they would have to replace the pipe that included the catalytic converter and it would be over $900. (The final cost was $881). As there was nothing wrong with the converter, I asked if they had a way to reattach the pipe -The answer was NO! I found out from my mechanic that there is a kit that runs $100 and that it would have been an easy job. -I feel they took advantage of a middle-aged woman from out of state- I only wish I had called my mechanic to ask the question once I was told what was wrong but it was right at the end of the day and I didnt want to keep these people past closing time.

I called this store to schedule a time for an oil change, however I made sure to check the price first. After finding out that it would cost me upwards of $50 I **politely** said this: "Thank you very much, but I have to apologize for wasting your time. Im very so-" "Click" "Hello?? Are you still there?" They hung up on me after realizing they wouldnt be making money off me. Its okay for then to end the call but being rude to customers is unacceptable.

Went in for a sticker, told me one thing was wrong went to my mechanic and he fixed it and didnt see anything else was wrong. Go back, mechanic then tells me something else is wrong. My mechanic check and theres nothing wrong with that part. They were just trying to scam me out of getting it "fixed" there. I will never return with such shady crap. Mechanic was owners son.

A&A Automotive always takes the time to look over my vehicle and explain or show me what is wrong with my vehicle. Whether Im in for a routine oil change, check engine light or known problem they always take their time explaining and going over options. They even vacuumed my front when I brought it in for an oil change. They always take the time to go the extra mile.

A&A has always been good to my truck, which now has nearly 180,000 miles on it. I had a grinding noise in my front brakes and stopped into their shop just after 4th of July. They were busy but managed to get my truck in without an appointment and replaced the front rotors that same day! They are the only ones that I will let touch my truck.

The office staff and mechanics are friendly and helpful. The work is always done as promised and on time or before. They go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. I always use them for repairs and inspection stickers. I would highly recommend A & A Automotive.
