I wish there was an option for MORE than 5 stars! There is a fabulous manager, Bob Almeida, in the Peabody store! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a genuine “Good Morning!” I informed Bob that it really hadn’t been a good morning so far as I had just had a fight with a man at Town Fair Tire! Bob listened intently to my tail of woe and promised that there would be “no fighting here!” Bob inspected my tires and asked if the “flat” was in my car. When he looked at the “flat” he was disgusted and told me that he was going to “make my day” as the nail in the tire was REPAIRABLE!!!! When the repair was complete, I went to pay and Bob said he wanted to repair my trust in people that work with cars so the fix was “on the house!” Little did he know, by his kindness, he had already mended my angry feelings towards people in the industry. I will be a Direct Tire customer forever!

As soon as I walked in and was welcomed by Steve S. I knew my car was in good hands. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the thorough video diagnostic soon after I had dropped off the car and was able to prioritize and make the best decisions on the recommended repairs after talking to my advisor. I am satisfied with the work done, the cost-saving adjustments and appreciated the advice for taking care of my newly installed brake pads. They make good use of communication technology, and save the customer time. But they do get busy. I recommend scheduling an appointment rather then trying to walk in anytime after mid-morning. Or just call ahead. I plan to make this shop a permanent home for my car service needs.

I purchased 2 tires about 20 months ago. Was not able to get all 4 at the time. Since then the tires were discontinued. I though I was stuck mismatching tires on an AWD vehicle. Barry the CEO stepped up to bat, and took care of replacing the 2 tires I had, allowing me to purchase 2 more to match. Not only did they drop me off to work, but the picked me up and took me back. Honest, fast, friendly and courteous. The other guys in this business should learn from this business model. They put the Customer back in Customer Service. They have my business for life, and whomever I can recommend to them. You find something good, you stick with it, and share.

HONEST, RESPECTABLE EXPERTS. These guys are the best in the business. I live in Boston but I always drive to these guys in Peabody because they are so friendly and provide expert advice and service. Ive had many bad experiences with mechanics in the past so I know what all is out there. When you go to these guys after getting frustrated with incompetent, dishonest mechanics at other businesses it will be like finding an oasis in the Sahara. Thanks guys!

Could not be happier! I went in expecting to replace belts (this problem was diagnosed by another repair shop) and a $200 job. They inspected the car and told me a simple adjustment would suffice. All for $50 and in less than a hour! They won my business going forward! Strongly recommend! Update: I went there recently for preventive maintenance and had a pleasant experience again. Will return there soon with my other car.

Avoid this place like the plague. Not only are they incompetent, but dishonest as well. Dont follow instructions and mfg. recommendations on tire rotation, and even after two visits to two different locations, fail to properly balance a set of tires. Whats worse is, management lies to cover it up. Promises to make it right, but doesnt. Spend your time and money elsewhere for car care. This place is the worst

These guys are fantastic! Our car battery died, and they got us in right away & had the battery replaced within 1 hour. They told us about one other thing to keep an eye on (alternator), but didnt try to get us to fix that today too. They were very fairly priced, so efficient, and SO friendly!! Ron was great!! We will definitely be going back to them for future repairs! Highly recommend!!

I was a walk in customer yesterday just hoping for an oil change,I also needed a alignment. Ron was great he took care of both in a very short time frame and sent me on my way I a always pleased by the professionalism of all of the people at Direct Tire and Auto Service,I would recommend them to anyone!

Excellent service. They had me in-and-out in less than time than I expected. There was no high pressure upsell and the recommendation for tires was inline with what I expected. I called ahead and they fit me right in to the schedule. I can t say much more other then I will use them again.

They gave me a good deal on tires, even sent me an update video halfway thru, finished quickly, then texted me that it was done. The guys working there were friendly & knowledgeable. Its a week later and no problems. Money well spent.

Got an alignment at this location and after several months, one of the front tires was beginning to show signs of cupping and premature wear on the outside edge. Had to get the alignment done properly at a dealership.
