I got my hair cut by Linda (didnt need coloring at the time-but saw her highlighting work on the gal before me-she was fairly blonde and her highlights were beautiful!). I used to be a hairstylist (in my former life) and am extremely picky about who does my hair. When I originally decided to go short in April, I looked at reviews & decided to go to Haddonfield (more than an hour away from where I live, but the only good online reviews that I could find!) It was difficult to get there on a regular basis. I decided to try closer to home (near Atlantic City area). The last 2 people who cut my hair did a so-so job, but not what I really wanted (I brought pics with me). Since I knew Linda from a while ago (we were childhood friends but grew apart over the years) and found out she was at Hair Mechanix, I decided to give her a try. I FOUND MY NEW HAIRSTYLIST! Linda will listen to what you want, trim more if you need it & she does it with NO ego! The salon is in an older building. Park in the back & go in the back entrance. The only negative I have to say is that they need to work on the outside appearance. The inside, though, is very clean & neat. Prices are very reasonable, too!
