The past two times I went to Fantastic Sams, I have not had a pleasant experience. I have gotten the same hairdresser, Mehgan. She is absolutely unprofessional and at times down right rude. I arrived there this morning, after calling ahead to see the price, at 9:50. I was informed there was about a 25 minute wait, so I stayed. As 10:15 rolled around, nobody was there to start the service. It was almost 10:45 before she began washing. The wash, cut, and dry took until 11:30. At this point, I was rightfully upset about being there for over and hour and a half. When I went up to pay she rung up $46.51, an absolutely ridiculous price for the service and not what was said on the phone. When I questioned the pricing she told me the blow dry would be $15, as she said on the phone, and the price went down to $26. Since she was originally charging me $20 for the blow dry, I dont see how the price is almost a $15 difference. Was she trying to overcharge me because I look young? She seemed surprised that I would say anything. Then when I mentioned the wait she informed me that it takes over an hour to blow dry someones hair. Ive gotten my hair cut before and never once has it taken an hour to dry- especially after she put me under the dryer. The service and employees here are deplorable and I would not recommend the hour long wait for a mediocre hair cut, that had to be fixed at Best Cuts down the street.

The service near me is friendly enough, I guess, but everytime I go there I never leave with the hairstyle I wanted and asked for. Im probably stupid to go there for a mens faded hair cut, but its convient and each time I walk in I ask, "Do you give faded haircuts, and if so is there anyone here who can take me today?" Because like one person who works there knows how apparently. Like, whats a fade? Is literally the look I get by the person who claims they can. I even bring pictures... Idk if its because I have ethnic hair (which they refuse to wash and do all that good stuff that I was more than willing to pay for. And Ive been to plenty other places for prom, weddings, first days, dates and they have treated me good and like the rest never declining me other services if needed and always making sure I leave satisfied with a fresh new look.) I hope something improves or I wont be going back there. In the end I just want to get what I came for, leave with confidence, and just know where Ill be returning to for another FANTASTIC haircut n style. Hopefully thatll be Sams..

There was absolutely no professionalism at this store what-so-ever! After being told we only had a 25 minute wait, we sat there and waited for 40 minutes without service. What turned into a simple wash, cut, and dry ended up taking two hours because the lady who was also doing hair stopped every two minutes to either talk on the phone, gossip, or check people in at the front. This is the second time we have went here with this same treatment. Horrible service and disrespectful manners. I highly advise finding a different way to get your hair cut. Best Cuts right down the road, has more than two employees at a time, quicker lines, and all around does a better job. Never again.

I was there today with my daughter. 2 hours before closing which I did call yesterday in advance. They treated us poorly as if we were a bother from the moment we walked in. I asked for a trim and blowout. I also asked ahead of the stylist is comfortable with curly hair. She did an absolute terrible job and didnt know how to give a blow out. Then came over and asked if she could use a flat iron instead. I declined and said just a cut is all we need. Such a bad experience for myself and more importantly my 9 year old daughter. Never again. Please save your self the headache and dont go here.

I went for the first time and the girl that cut my hair did a lousy job. You never really know how bad until you get home. She even styled it, I think to cover up all the uneven hair strands. She was apparently a beginner hair stylist. I asked her to go shorter in the back. She did, but apparently was afraid to go short. She said, "if I go any shorter, itll start looking stupid." I went to Best Cuts and the guy their, fixed it and commented on the lousy job FS did. He called it a hot mess. I got it cut much shorter and it looks GREAT!!! Just like I wanted it.

A friend of mine is one of the stylists there so I knew to make an appt a week in advance she took us right away and my seven year olds hair cut and ombré came out great. Although shes my friend this was the first cosmetology/hair experience I had with her. Xo Brit Brit

They told us it would take 35 minutes for two trims, it took an hour and fifteen minutes, she didnt cut off all of my dead ends. Nicer places cost more but are worth it, most likely wont go back.
