Called MarGo to get an estimate on replacing a toilet in my basement. Wound up also scheduling an AC tune-up for $139 while I was at it since the woman on the phone told me they were running a special. Plumber comes and quotes me to replace the toilet with one they supply off their truck for $1,300. Needless to say, I respectfully declined. AC guy comes next, tunes up the AC and tells me coolant is low and he needs to recharge about a pound at $200/lb. I tell him to go ahead, seems reasonable. Well, he comes back and tells me it wound up being 3 lbs low. So now Im spending $800 instead of the $139 I planned on. I called and spoke to the owner and they knocked off $200 from my bill, only reason I am giving 2 stars. AC guy also gives me an estimate to replace my AC unit for a relatively small 1500 sq ft house for $13,500. Im not sure if these guys get commission and inflate their quotes, but these prices are WAY too high. Although both MarGo employees seemed very nice, respectable and punctual, I will not be using MarGo again.

I contacted MarGo for my recent kitchen renovation at which time all new plumbing was needed. I cannot say more about how highly I recommend MarGo including Mary, Joe, Mike and Dave who I had the pleasure to work with. Everything regarding the plumbing work needed from beginning to end was flawless and stress free. This plumbing company is "top notch". From excellent customer service, respectfulness, being on time, follow through, workmanship, professionalism, cleanseliness, honesty and knowledge shared was incredible. Mike who was the main person on the project is one of the nicest people to ever work at my home - I can tell he loves what he does and is incredibly passionate. He was always willing to explain what he was doing and make suggestions with his attitude of wanting to provide the best of his trade to the customer. I thank MarGo for making the plumbing renovation of my new kitchen an enjoyable experience.

Great overall experience with Margo. We have worked with Margo a couple of times over the past 6 months and they are very experienced and knowledgeable. They are very detailed in their work and have excellent customer service. Their pricing was slightly less than some of the other companies we have talked with and their attention to detail and work ethic are second to none. Mike B. was great in diagnosing our issue and then spending as much time as was required to make sure we were happy and that the work they did was to our satisfaction. We had our boiler go out in early December and they came in the next business day, fixed our issue temporarily and then provided us with several options to resolve the issue permanently. Great team and you cant go wrong in working with Mike B @ Margo.

Do you have a room in your house that just doesnt seem to get enough heat? Well, I called MarGo to find out if there was something that could be done about it. Their technician, Jesse arrived exactly when he was scheduled. He looked the situation over and gave me some really good suggestions on how we could take our existing system, shut off vents of little use, which would support this back bedroom. Also, it turns out that as he was inspecting the vents by daughter in the back bedroom had one completely blocked (duh). I felt rather foolish for not checking something so simple first. Jesse worked with his superiors, and reduced our visit cost. If I ever really do have any heating issues I would call MarGo again.

We called Margo about some plumbing issues that we noticed in our home. Jesse showed up the same day that we called. After taking some time to diagnose the problems, he gave us a clear estimate with a number of different options and corresponding prices. Jesse completed all work in one day, including procuring a part that we needed from a local supply store and fixing some unforseen issues that could not have been diagnosed until the repairs started. Throughout the process he kept us apprised of his progress, and even with the additional problems, which took substantial time to resolve, the end price was still what we agreed on with the estimate. We are very happy with Margo and strongly recommend them.

Jesse D came and completed the job on the same day, which no one has ever offered me before. He was completely professional, very knowledgeable, and patient to explain things to me. He offered three different levels and prices of service to the boiler system, recommended the middle option, and didnt upsell me to something I didnt need. He was honest, trustworthy, and meticulous about his work. He also took the time to evaluate the full plumbing system and offer suggestions on things that should be addressed. Overall, one of my best contractor experiences across the board.

Mike called prior to his arrival and arrived in the time he said he would. From the moment he stepped foot into my home, his expertise and professionalism was evident. He reviewed each task I needed completed and clearly explained what had to be done for each one. He wore shoe covers to protect my floors, and laid a drop cloth in front of the sink to catch any debris. Everything I asked for was completed in a reasonable time and I couldnt be happier. We used MarGo plumbing to run a new ice maker line and to replace our house water main shut-off valves which had seen better days. MarGo plumbing offered a free in-home estimate for both cost and for time associated with the replacement and repair. The technician Jesse D. time was extremely knowledgeable with the scope work and highly efficient when it came to getting the work done. We didnt even have to ask the technician to wear boot covers to keep our floors clean, or even ask that the debris was cleaned up. MarGo was definitely on the higher side with respect to cost, but the level of professional service and warranty was worth the extra few bucks. Highly recommend!
