0 Stars. This place is a joke; we came from a real 24 hour fitness in San Diego. This place is the ugly step child of 24 hour fitness. When we signed up in March (pre-"remodel") for what they claim was going to be a super sport. We were told they were getting all new equipment and there would be no downtime/closures. The manager told us that all of the equipment would be identical to the other 24 hour fitness facilities. The gym closed for over 2 weeks where we were told we wouldnt be reimbursed because they were allowing us to go to the Springfield location on Rt 22. We joined this gym because it was local and traveling on Rt 22 during rush hour to go to the gym before/after work is ridiculous. When the "remodel" was complete, it was mostly cosmetic besides swapping out the cardio equipment and re-arranging machines. The cable equipment was still half broken, the attachments were no where to be found, all of the free weights were the old Ballys equipment. For their "grand opening", they had temporary signs still covering the Ballys signs which were still up. They tried to have a second grand opening since the first one was a bust. When trying to finally cancel my membership after moving out of town, I called up to cancel and was told that I couldnt cancel over the phone; I had to come to the facility to cancel with a manager. We took a trip on a Saturday specifically to the facility to handle canceling our membership to find out there are no managers working on the weekends. I was told the only days/times a manager is on site is from Monday - Friday from 10am - 5pm. Ive never in my life been to such a poorly run facility. Ultimately, I had to call corporate to cancel which took over an hour due to heavy wait times. I explained to them how poorly managed this facility is. They could not believe that there wasnt a manager on site at least every day. Dont waste your money.

This place is in desperate need of an upgrade. Its not very clean, the equipment is outdated. Only a few tvs, some playing ridiculous music videos, trash. Others are set to, at best, sports channel, but often to some religious program, or infomercial. I have been a member for years, when I first signed up they used to have towels for members, but no longer. The staff is ok, not super friendly, but I would not say rude. I mean - can you get a workout? Yes. Would I recommend it to a friend? No. The only reason I am still there is because of the price, but my contract does allow them to raise my price once a year, so maybe not for long... There are better options in the area.

They will try to rip you off. The staff also pretend they dont see you if you have any questions. Although it helps to be a certain "type" of person to enjoy this gym. I had a situation where my 1 yr membership ended, and I left my ID card there. Someone picked up my ID and apparently started using it and they tried to charge me for this persons usage. Mind you, I had canceled my membership months ago and moved to college 200 miles away. IE, theres no way it could have been me using the card, which shouldve been deactivated anyway since my membership ended. All in all, terrible service. Avoid if youre not the right "type" of person for this town and gym.

Employee have an attitude, dont keep apt, & machines were broke. When asked for some info on equipment, the manager said they dont have any. But funny I found on their web site is every piece of equipment & how to use it. If they kept their promise & gave me the 1hr promised by a trainer to explain the equipment that might have helped. Even the manager had an attitude when I tried to address issues. I guess customer service is not priority here.

This is the 2nd gym that I applied to, the other one was the Cranford Recreation center. Compared to Cranford this place seems to me is a nice place to work out. Granted some of the weights are not where they are suppose to be but hey, You are their to work out, get off your fuckig lazy ass and look for them, Is that not exercise. The place is clean, the staff is great and the place is clean. I have know problem working out at this facility.

This place is a dump. Equipment is old and always broken. Weight selector pins are always missing from machines, rendering them unusable. The equipment looks like they have never been cleaned. Weights are never re-racked, so be prepared to remove hundreds of pounds of weight from machines equipment you want to use. On top of all this, they charge 3x more then other gyms in the area. Waiting for the LA Fitness across the street to open…

Not sure why the other reviews are so bad. This is a very nice location and the staff has been great. I live in CO but travel here for work almost every week. The equipment is in good shape, my only complaint is the Dumbbells are a little out of order and some seem to be missing. Other than that its a nice place to work out.

Its a smaller gym but still a pretty nice place to workout if you have a membership to 24hr clubs. No pool and no basketball court.
