IF YOU LOVE YOUR NAILS - DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I had my nails done yesterday there and to say that was the worst manicure ever - means to say nothing. I got really bad cut on my finger although I warned the manicurist that I have capillaries close to skin surface. It took 25 minutes with me to stop the blood, like never before in my 20 years experience. She had no alcohol to treat that, borrowed some powder from a hair stylist, which didnt help. I was offered an apology in the btw shape: "oh, I am sorry". My finger is swollen, all red and hurts. However, I was charged in full and she didnt hesitate to get tips. Polish was applied in a very neglectful manner, over particles stock on the nails. Layering corner of my nail wasnt buffed. Also, while I was trying to stop the blood with cold water flow, the man who works in the salon was loudly asking which race I was. Disgusting place!

Absolutely TERRIBLE! I went here just to get a root touch up. I have (had) platinum blonde hair and the roots had grown out a bit. I told them just to make my roots match again, and she said no problem. When she was done, my roots were GRAY and the rest of my hair had a BLUE tint!!! it was absolutely horrible. She also cut off about 3 inches!!!! I just told her to give it a small trim... TRIM not CUT. Then she wants to charge me 95 dollars?! So I told them there was no way I was paying for gray hair and they needed to fiix it. they were really rude and my hair ended up brown. I walked in with beautiful platinum blonde hair that just needed the roots done, and walked out crying with brown hair. Save yourself the pain and NEVER GO TO THIS SALON! They are so unprofessional and have no idea what they are doing.

I have been going to this salon for over five years, for my hair to be cut, colored, and styled. I am always thrilled when I walk out of the shop. After leaving, I always feel refreshed and a little more confident because of the way my hair was done. Every time I go, I enjoy the experience, the shop, and the staff. The staff is friendly, and welcoming. The shop is very clean and each month I look forward to seeing Lynn (the owner).

My first and only time there I came with photos of what I wanted. I asked for one inch taken off, they took off 4 inches. The hair style wasnt even close to what I asked for and it made me look 10 years older than I am. You know its bad when other customers and stylists are staring in disbelief!

My wifes hair looks great when she leaves The Porch. Lin does a great job every single time. She cuts my hair as well, and its perfect every time, even with all the crazy cowlicks that I have. I would recommend Lin and The Porch to anyone. They always do a great job.
